aleful got a reaction from mushroomspore in B1 visa rejected in Singapore, can re-apply in Malaysia?
hi
nope you are the same person, immigration has you in their system, you will have to be truthful and apply with the same information you did last time, you have no ties to your country or Singapore you will be denied again and seen as desperate to come here

aleful got a reaction from SusieQQQ in Bringing family over and timeline
hi
you can file for your parents whenever they decide to move here permanently, it can take up to 1 year to come
your brother is a different story, if you fie for him, it will take over 14 years, if your parents file for him after they come here it will take 7 or more years but until they come think around 10 years the least and he must remain single until he enters the US. you can still file for him just in case anything happens, and if he marries, he can bring his wife and minor children with him.
he has time to study any career in Canada and come here with education and experience, since any type of petition will take a long time.

aleful got a reaction from EM_Vandaveer in 3rd Trimester Pregnant, Waiting for Interview
hi
nope, as we stated, the baby doesn't qualify to get a visa, you will have to leave the baby behind, enter the country, file a petition which will take over 2 years
you may be able to get a reentry permit, that will allow you to be out of the country for 2 years
-
aleful got a reaction from EM_Vandaveer in 3rd Trimester Pregnant, Waiting for Interview
hi
If she is still pregnant she will immigrate and have the baby in the US
if she gets the visas and she enters the US pregnant, she can't have the baby in her country

aleful got a reaction from Ate in Girlfriend
hi
nope you can't do that, you were petitioned as unmarried, you must remain unmarried, once you enter the US, you can return to your country and marry your girlfriend. you then will file a new petition, and the wait will be over 2 years
DO NOT marry your girlfriend before you enter the US, you MUST enter the country as unmarried

hi
an attorney will make no difference, that;'s how long the process will take, an attorney can't do anything about it, you file once you get your naturalization certificate, and after 14 or 15 years, who knows, she will get an immigrant visa.
very simple with family petitions

aleful got a reaction from little immigrant in Traveling while Pending Renew of AP (I-485)
hi
nope, the acceptance isn't an extension, you need the actual card, which can come between 4 to 6 months, so you won't be able to travel unless you get a stamp in your passport

aleful got a reaction from ezzy in Tourist Visa valid and thinking of Petitioning
hi
first of all, if you petition for your sister, depending on the country of origin it will take 14 or more years, for some countries, sibling petitions take over 20 years
they can visit in the mean time
and your parents can visit as well once you file for them, as long as they don't stay for a long time, short visits

aleful got a reaction from sharpie11 in I-864 Part 5 Question??!
hi
what you filled out is correct, 0 for spouse
remember that the i864 has multiple use, for different family members
so if your husband was filing for a parent for example, number 1 would be for the parent, 2 himself, 3 you, and 4 your son, and the household size would be 4
but since the spouse is the beneficiary and can't be counted twice, you are counted on number one as the beneficiary

aleful got a reaction from Boiler in Bringing granddaughter to US ( after adoption or being named guardian)
hi
it doesn't matter if you are the legal guardian, you are still the grandparents and there are no petitions for grandchildren, her parents are alive so it will be difficult to adopt, plus you have to live with her in Colombia for a couple of years, but as stated, she's not an orphan.
keep doing what you are doing, support her from here

the G325A was replaced by the i130A
-
aleful got a reaction from KJ2 in I-751 / National Emergency
hi
nope, nothing to do with immigration, it's to get funds to build the southern wall at the border, nothing else
he stated that he will build the wall, so with the National emergency in place he can get the funds allocated, but it will take a while, dozens of people have filed lawsuits and a judge has stopped the emergency funding temporarily
you are correct, but probably by now everyone has heard it on the news
-
aleful got a reaction from Liezl09 in Fees
hi
since the process will take years, he will have to redo all the nvc stage again, around 1 to 2 years prior to the priority date being current, you will have to pay the affidavit of support again, and the ds260, and send all the forms and documents again
the waiting time in total is around 7 years for a child over 21 of a LPR, depending on the country of origin it can be more,
when was the petiton filed, 2014 or 2015? and what country is he from?
-
aleful got a reaction from assila in Bring spouse of permanent resident
hi
nope, that's the second part of the process at the nvc stage
for now, you send the i130 and i130A
