Question regarding EBT Benefits.
Lemonslice replied to Milka:)'s topic in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America
It's there a reason your husband is going oversea for surgery? make sure he's not claiming to be a resident elsewhere... You might be eligible to receive assistance, see eligibility here: https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/recipient/eligibility -

While I recommend renewing her passport ASAP, she might be able to fly with her expired Hungarian passport, and/or her national ID card. In some situations, it's totally feasible. Check with the airline (s). ..... Visa Requirements Visa requirements for Hungary Nationals living in United States Travelling to France Travelling to France Passport Passport required. Passport Exemptions: Nationals of Hungary with a national ID card. Nationals of Hungary with an emergency or a temporary passport. Document Validity: Nationals of Hungary are allowed to enter with an expired normal passport or an expired national ID card. These documents are accepted when expired for a maximum of 1 year. Emergency and temporary passports issued to nationals of Hungary must be valid on arrival. Minors: All minors who are nationals of Hungary are expected to hold their own travel documents. Visa Additional Information: Valid visas in full, invalidated travel documents are accepted if accompanied by a new travel document.

She should have no problem. If she is flying, she might want to keep this guide handy (for airline personnel) - https://www.cbp.gov/document/guides/carrier-information-guide-english

Oh, thank you! Years ago, Bourjois made an body oil and it smelled amazing. Very, very, light hazelnut smell. It has been discontinued and I have been disappointed by the Nuxe oil. So far, the best replacement I have found is the Alba Kukui Hawaiian Oil. The smell is not too strong, and it is very hydrating. My parents are currently in France, I might ask them to grab a bottle of the Doliderm, it's about 8 Euros there. I have trouble with body cream, but drops of oil seem to work well on my (body) skin. Recent purchase is a bright lip crayon (colour, Make it happen). While it is not perfect, I am surprised by the quality for the price. It does stay on forever, but it is a bit drying (like all long wear lipstick I have tried...). Wanted something a little more cherry than bright red, and the colour is right. Enjoy your weekend, beauty lovers 😝

Can US permanent residents enter the US in a Canadian car without importing it?
Lemonslice replied to intex's topic in Canada
Big hiccup might be to have your Canadian insurance cover you when you are no longer a resident there. -
Since they are busy preparing their wedding and return to China, I think it might also be useful to delegate that search to a travel agent. AAA does it for free for members here; but it would be a small price to pay to have someone find the best itinerary at a reasonable price, and insure she is leaving on time.

It is a bit useless to search without knowing departing airport and destination, but I got this under $2K. I think you need a travel agent, assistance to find flights. Save the energy of asking for an extension (will not be approved), and find a way to fly out. This is New York to Shanghai, August 25 to Doha, then leaving the 27th to Shanghai.

You can work and Pay tax without EAD

Same if you do other lucrative illegal activities . Paying taxes is often part of the money laundering process. -

That is also my understanding. Not condoning work, but if you are working, or have worked, without authorization, you are required to declare the income to the IRS. -

Exactly. See "Replace a passport abroad" here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/emergencies/lost-stolen-passport-abroad.html Edited to add: Your question is a repeat of what you have asked in a prior topic. I strongly suggest you contact your closest consulate/embassy: https://www.usembassy.gov/ They will be able to guide you on the documents you have, if it sufficient to return to the USA, or if you need anything else. Also, they can answer questions about where to go for support once you land. Best of luck to you.

Montreal Consulate email response time
Lemonslice replied to leverne1's topic in US Embassy and Consulate Discussion
Once I submit the documents, how long does it take them on average to return passport? Rarely less than 6-8 weeks. Your medical exam might be expired now, when did you do it?
