  1. It does. The reason you're exempt is probably because they can't have you do (some of) those things legally. But I don't think signing would get you in trouble.
  2. Just ask. Highlight the part about the exemption, and explain that is exactly what you are, so it seems it would apply to you. However, nothing in the declaration says "as a citizen, I will...". So, I don't think it's a big deal either way.
  3. That's when you ask your boss to verify with HR. My job as something similar, citizens do A, non-citizens do B.
  4. Just need to state you got physically together in the same location after the wedding, and provide supporting evidence. You can even remove the consumption vocabulary (I know I would).
  5. That is a big downside of the AOS. Discuss with your husband, and family back home, how they can support you while you're unable to work. Even if the expedite request was approved, it's not instantaneous.
  6. No, had mostly lamb and beef. Chicken was on the menu, but it was not available. I saw some (not actively hunted) groundhogs, but we didn't eat any. Mongolian groundhog hunting is something different, if you find a documentary . Certainly one different of the most beautiful places I've visited. I hope to visit again one day.
  7. So, when I visited Mongolia, available food options were limited. Our driver (not a veggie lover), explained that it's ok to skip veggies, because the animals you're eating, already ate them. I feel you guys would be in agreement.
  8. Since he lost his card, he needs to get a current stamp in his passport, he will need to make an infopass appointment.
  9. I understand, I hate dill. Visiting Russia was hard, they added some dill to most dishes. No dill please is one of only Russian sentences I remember.
  10. I love cauliflower! I'm not a big fan of Chick-fil-A, and there's none close by really, but I might stop next time my stopover is in Philly. I eat meat, but I also have cauliflower steak recipe that's in regular rotation at home. Probably other weirdos like me would try it.
  11. You can also add each other as beneficiaries on insurance and financial accounts. Wills, living wills.
  12. Airlines can have their own requirements. Reach out to the airline you are planning to use.
  13. Why do they always discontinue the best products? I only have to use a couple of drops of oil per limb, after my shower. The bottle last forever, I've even split mine with my mother and siblings. Now I'm hungry and i want to get some food from them too...
  14. Lol Oh, I have a small Eau relaxante body moisturizer in my travel kit. Smells so good. I like this oil https://www.albabotanica.com/products-alba/hawaiian-body-oil/ It goes on sale under $10 at Whole foods. It smells great, absorb fast, works well. I like it much better than the Nuxe one. There used to be one from Bourjois, in spray, with light shimmer. It was the best, but it's been discontinued I'll look at Kate McLeod products, thanks. @beloved_dingo+1 for The Ordinary products. I have the zinc niamicide also, but my favourite from them is The Buffet.
  15. What's the obsession with hotel towels? Were you in the military TboneTx? I'm trying to pinpoint where it's coming from...
  16. Lol. My husband would probably say that Dr. Bronner's liquid soap is luxe. Yeah, no joke, it's better than Dial soap lol. CVS pick of body moisturizer... I think I would go with La Roche Posay? There's a line of Eucerin products I get when I'm overseas, because it works, and the texture is nice. The Urea feet, and hand, creams. I wore makeup for the first time in forever today. Family reunion and wanted to not look February-in-New-England grey. I need to find a way to escape to the beach somewhere. So, what's your ultimate luxe body moisturizer?
  17. I really want to wish you good luck. Read the instructions, follow the instructions. Plenty of tips in this thread on how to show good evidence, and I have even said that I *too* felt some of what is required is ridiculous/has to fit in a mold that is far from how we live our relationship. However, you will realize that it is much easier to take the easy way and "just do it", than to argue about the requirements.
  18. Rich or poor is not the question, it is about having the required evidence to have a smooth immigration journey. I would read through this thread a couple more times, and then read the instructions a few more times. Good luck.
  19. Which common bill do they have to pay though? They just got married and are living separately. I think no matter how they use it, it's still evidence. Poor financial decisions I see in so many threads that there would be no end to the advice you can give. Legit respect to you, but I don't feel it's my place to baby them. Same why I don't remind them to eat healthy, visit their doctor, and what not. I see trainwreck relationships that will never work, bite my tongue and try to help with immigration. Rest is to them to figure out.
  20. Ok. I feel this is off topic. I was just trying to provide ways to have some evidence, since OP does not even seem to want to share financial stuff with their spouse. Maybe they're financially illiterate and will appreciate your advice. Never paid interest on my credit card, since I pay it in full on time. Had some unexpected expenses at times, but I can fully pay the card right back from my savings. Debit cards can't be used everywhere abroad. Whatever works for them.
