  1. Yes that is an option. We actually did that at the POE because we were in the middle of a move. We gave our attorney's address as the mailing address and gave him a different "physical address".
  2. I don't recall exactly how the question was phrased but both the consular officer and the CBP officer at my POE asked for my address in the US. I believe the address you provide determines where your social security card and green card are sent. You can change where the green card is sent on the USCIS website after entry but I don't believe you can do so for the SS card because it gets sent pretty fast (within 1-2 weeks of entry).
  3. Yes I believe I was asked for a US address during the interview.
  4. I lived in the US for over 10 years on 4 different visa statuses prior to my immigrant visa interview. I took all the documents with me but was not asked to show anything at the interview. Agree with your strategy of taking everything but most likely they won’t ask for anything.
  5. Yes, no issues. My wife and I traveled back and forth twice a month between Canada and the US on H1b/H4 for over 3 years. We are both Canadian citizens, so we just presented the I-797 approval notice, in addition my wife had to show marriage certificate for the H4. 1 year into it, we got NEXUS and added H1b status to it and didn’t need to present anything at the POE.
  6. We sent a copy and that was sufficient for DQ.
  7. My wife and I were both approved at Montreal (EB2-NIW) at the end of July 2022 and entered with our IV stamps first week of August 2022. My wife needs to travel back to Canada next week. Will she be able to re-enter alone with her endorsed IV stamp or do I need to travel with her as I was the primary applicant on the EB2-NIW?
  8. Fees Paid - morning of August 4th 2022 POE - Toronto/YYZ, afternoon of August 4th 2022 SSN - waiting GC - waiting I see that some wait much longer than others but do most people typically get their GC in 2 months?
  9. Category: EB2 NIW DQ: October 2021 Expedite: June 2022 IL: June 2022 Medical: June 2022 Interview: end of July 2022 My wife and I got to the consulate early in the morning before it opened. We were instructed to wait outside by a guard for the building. Eventually more people arrived and lined up behind us. After the consulate opened we were asked to come in based on the time of our interview. We did not take any electronics or a bag of any kind, just a folder with our documents. There is a locker for small items like a cellphone if needed, but we had left ours in the car. Our folder and personal items were placed in a bin and scanned like at an airport and we were handed a paper with a number. We then went up an elevator to the interview area. We were eventually called up. The first officer asked for our passports, police checks, original birth and marriage certificates. Eventually he asked for our passport photos and scanned them in. Also asked us about our address in the US. He then asked us to go sit down. We were then called by a second officer who asked us a couple more questions and said he intended to approve us and that we would receive our passports within 2 weeks. CEAC status changed to issued - final processing a few hours after our interview. We received our passports on the 3rd business day after the interview along with a large packet that said "DO NOT OPEN". We traveled via a major airport the same day we received our passports. CBP did not give us any issues, we were taken into secondary processing where they confirmed our address again and stamped our passports. Glad to be done with this whole ordeal.
  10. Got tracking number Tuesday and mine was supposed to be delivered yesterday but got delayed. Hope it comes today... hope you have better luck.
  11. Hey I just got an email with the tracking number!
  12. @Dawgydawgworld @Booey_US_CA Congratulations. Can you kindly share when you receive the passport tracking/courier information? I was approved on Friday and CEAC has been showing Issued (final processing) since the day of the interview but I have not received tracking information yet.
