The fact that travel agents also lie on forms and get people permanently banned is also an open secret.

Wow, sweet attitude. Just a FYI, immigration to the U.S is not a right, it's a privilege.

Yes you can get a same day passport (at one of the passport agencies, not at a post office or other application center). As you've figured out, you'll need an appointment. You can make an appointment at any passport agency in any city.
You need to use a U.S. passport to enter and leave the U.S. Under state department regulations. There are some exceptions made for land-travel to Canada, but these are border agency policies and don't apply to airports.
Since you can't get an appointment in time, you'll have to choose between postponing your trip or postponing your oath ceremony. If you can't push back your trip, return to oath letter and ask for the ceremony to be rescheduled.

Co-mingling in Spain would not matter not at Removal time. ave you been married over 2 years?
The bottom line is there may come a time that the CBP deems o are not immigrating and you are living more outside the country than on and you would have to surrender your green card.

I hope you get denied. This is our immigration process no matter if you think it is unfair or obsoletr it is ours. Also how does the U.S. disrespect your country's sovereignty? If you think the country you are trying to immigrate to is so bad then stay at home in your own country.

I don't know if you are done with ROC but as far as moving on goes, take the driver's test again and find work to support yourself, you have been
here for 2 1/2 years so it's time to do something with any job you can get even if it's not your ideal job. Suing your spouse is ridiculous, go find a job
    and a divorce lawyer.
Divorce and you can file ROC with a divorce waiver.

Any overstay is a big deal - even if there is no formal ban, getting any non-immigrant visa (work/student / whatever) will be extremely difficult.

JeanneVictoria reacted to Pinkrlion in Can my wife, who will be receiving her CR-1 spousal visa, bring her niece to the States?
I think you are really asking is a way for your niece to come and stay in the US without a proper visa. you are trying to see if she can get through on a visitors visa and just stay. That is immigration fraud, no one will answer that.

This is you and your fiancé's future, personal information, and life ahead of you. If you can't spend some time to handle something as important and simple as calling the NVC yourself, then you're going to find a lot of other problems ahead. Frankly, it's irresponsible.

Ever heard of Identity fraud? They can do A LOT with your full name and date of birth. If they are also getting money from it, they will ask for your credit info and you can say bye bye money and your identity and you will never get it back.
They can also do a lot of damage with your case too.
This is not one of those things you let someone else do. Just call NVC yourself.

Another person who betrayed the trust given to him/her by the United States of America, who even afterwards is still looking for a way to once again violate the trust once given....by name changes and sleight of hand. Think about this: ever wonder why so many Filipinos have difficulty gaining the trust of a CO and be granted a B2 visa? For the answer, just look in the mirror.

Not going to help you lie. Or figure out how the US will find out.
Seems like you are more concern with how you might get caught if you lie than you telling the truth.
Tell the truth, then you don't have to worry about how the US will find out that you lied.

JeanneVictoria reacted to Ihavequestions in I NEED to know is this normal among embassies- EGYPT
Stop blaming the Embassy. Stop emailing the Embassy. Leave your Congressman out of it.
Why? Because it's not the Embassy and your Congressman can't do anything - not one thing - to move your AP along.
    Why?
Because AP is done at the local level, by locals. That's right! Local. Meaning, if the beneficiary's name is run through all of those databases and there's a match, further investigation is required. Any involvement with the legal system is investigated. If the beneficiary was a witness to a crime, it's investigated. That investigation requires a local (yes, an Egyptian!) to find the motivation to get up out of that comfy chair, dig through that dusty stack of files, and give the Embassy the information they're asking for. It's particularly challenging in cases where bright lights got the good idea to burn court houses and police stations where paper records are stored.
All you can do is wait.
OmSama, can you ask for an expedite? Do you know?

JeanneVictoria reacted to Hypnos in Green card holder living overseas applying for N-400
Right now his biggest priority should be to keep his green card. Given how he is basically using it as a tourist visa right now it wouldn't surprise me if CBP asked him to voluntarily relinquish it whenever he next attempts to visit. If he declines then CBP could issue him with a Notice To Appear in immigration court where they would ask an immigration judge to revoke his green card due to abandonment.
If someone isn't living in the US then they aren't entitled to a green card.
