What information are you planning to withhold during interview?

For a marriage of only 8 months she would be lucky to get anything of your assets or property in most states.  She has obviously been coached.  I would avoid being alone with her in any place.  Change the locks , divorce and run pull the affidavit of support.

Get your GC Fedexed to you with insurance and tracking.  Come back in with your Greencard.

What you're suggesting is illegal and sounds like a plotline from a Cheech and Chong movie.

First of all, it's illegal/misrepresentation. Second of all, it could possibly complicate your life on so many levels.

JeanneVictoria reacted to EmilyW in Can I legally make my wife leave my house? Also, is it too late to cancel pending I-864?
Leave your house for a while.  Have no contact with her, unless you have a neutral party present.  Once she realizes she's lost her path, expect a VAWA claim.

Your boyfriend being found inadmissible makes total sense! He lived in the US for a full year on an immigrant visa, undertook unauthorized employment and returned two months later on a one way ticket with preconceived immigrant intent! Living and working on a NIV for a full year is a blatant violation of his admitted immigration status. The plan to return on a one way ticket, (barely two months after leaving), get married and undergo AOS is another fraudulent immigration attempt.

So yes, your option is to move to Argentina get married and file a CR1 petition. He waits out the process outside the US.

JeanneVictoria reacted to Hypnos in Is affidavit of support can be withdrawn during the AOS interview?
An I-864 can be withdrawn at any point before the I-485 is adjudicated; this includes at the interview.

Him cheating on you would not be a valid reason to file under VAWA, if that's all that happened (and there is no physical and/or mental abuse which rises to the level of "extreme cruelty", which is the required standard for VAWA).

JeanneVictoria reacted to Unlockable in I unknowingly voted as a permanent resident, HELP!
Then unfortunately, your path to citizenship is pretty much done. Especially with the current administration in office. Voting is a major offense. Because it is registered/ recorded when you actually vote there is a paper trail. So it can be traced back to you. On the N400 citizenship application it specifically asks if you voted in any federal election.

You best bet now is to take the advice of @ff and remove your name from the voter registrars immediately and forget about applying for citizenship.

Why did he say that? Was he just trying to be funny or something? If the CBP officer took him seriously, then that's a legitimate reason to be turned away.

How is US immigration policy responsible for OP's lack of funds?

International students chose to study at their own discretion; they aren't forced to do so by anyone. Students are responsible to maintain a source of funds while in the US.

Love it when people come on this board to ask a question, then when they don't like the answers, they get all rude about it... Georgia is right, you are NOT allowed to work on the VWP. But hey, when CBP ask for your reason for entering the US, why don't you tell them you're coming to work as a contractor and see what happens...

So you did vote? It is your responsibility to know what you can and cannot do as a permanent resident regardless of what someone at the DMV says. I am not sure how you register to vote knowing that only citizens can vote.
So I guess my question is, did you know that only citizens can vote or did you honestly think that PRs can vote?
    Good luck

JeanneVictoria reacted to Hypnos in Be Accused Marriage Fraud While Waiting for N-400 Interview
To file under the three year rule you need to be living in the same residence in a true marital union with your US citizen spouse.
By your own admission you've moved out, therefore you are no longer living in the same residence, and so aren't eligible to file under the three year rule.
The proper course of action would be to withdraw your pending N-400 and then re-file once you have been an LPR for five years.
