Post back if you get denied or accepted please. Hopefully you get accepted, but why would you submit anything that could possibly hurt you more than help? Just because you can do something doesn't make it a good idea. To get accepted for noa2 of i-129f you dont even need photos that is the easy part. Until you have visa in hand you have nothing at all.

    I understand your point.

Getting petitions passed USCIS quite easy unless petitioner committed some sexual crime. The hard part is the waiting time. I helped many people in my community petition for K-1/CR-1 and other family related types of visa. I also petitioned for my ex and my wife myself. All got their visas approved and just by following USCIS instructions closely.

Generally, USCIS does not need to know about customs & traditions or investigate too much, they only need to verify if a petition meets the requirements for the type of visa it is for.  USCIS does not grant visa. The majority of the time, petitions get rejected at USCIS because people do not follow the instructions.

Consulates, however, have strong knowledges about customs and traditions of a visa’s applicant.

SJordanS reacted to Kürbis&Tannenbaum in NOA2 Expiration
My understanding is that for K1 the NOA2 is valid for only 4 months. We got ours in February, so it is valid until June. The exact expiration date is written somewhere in the top right corner of your NOA2. What does it say there?
NOA2 should be valid at the time your interview takes place. If there is need for additional processing AFTER the interview and your NOA2 would expire before you get your visa, it would automatically be extended by the consulate on the visa interview day. However, if your NOA2 expires before your interview, you can request an extension of NOA2 at the consulate. You can use the sample form here https://www.visajourney.com/content/examples  ; "Request to extend approval of I-129f". Add a reason why you request this extension.

Ok. If someone who actually knows the answer to my question can answer that would be great.

First, going with that bank account idea, she will get 100% DENIED because they will see it as deceptive.

I don't think she needs trickery.  At her age, unless she has any kind of history of illegal immigration/deportation/etc, she should get approved for a tourist visa.

I will say one is better than two:  good enough income to cover your case, less work for your relatives/you, less work for NVC people.

Yes your brother can file a I-134 plus all the back up information from my "financial" post. Owing taxes is not something that concerns the embassy.

I do not check this daily anymore.  We are still working on our RFE.

But, I think we are VERY close to being able to send USCIS the document they requested.

SJordanS reacted to SalishSea in RFE for meeting in last 2 years: does this mean our lawyer messed up?
Not surprising at all.  Photos are considered secondary evidence because in most cases, it is not possible to "prove" the date they were taken.  They show you have indeed met and been together in person, but not WHEN.

Lawyers often cause delays and RFEs. You've paid them, and they don't have any personal stake in the outcome or timeline. I totally recommend completing your process as DIY by reading and studying as much as you can here as well as on the USCIS website.

Best primary evidence of meeting within two years of filing is passport stamps and boarding passes.

Im not letting her leave my sight for the next few days as I see she is physically and emotionally in shock. I will help her through this process with the Embassy because yes others should know what needs to be done. This may not happen immediately. Embassy in Jordan is only opened one more day and then closed for the weekend there so hopefully something will happen tomorrow. (On another note, I cant wait for the "show down")

SJordanS reacted to Indy Sab in Age gap
hello... I have posted several topics, all of them very important to cover...

My fiance and I have been together since February 20th 2016, we met at an establishment in Cartagena Colombia, after we met, we fell deeply in love  and  we moved in together on march of that same year. I was in Colombia finishing my medical doctor career. I am 10 years older than him, that has not been an issue at all!  My fiance is very mature and very caring, and we get along pretty well... I would say excellent. During 2016 we lived together in Cartagena, once I was done with my medical career i came back to the US, and since then I have been traveling back and forth a lot!!! I would say more than three times per year and staying for long periods of times. We communicate every day, all day... I am always traveling to Colombia on special events like his birthday, my birthday, new year... for his university graduation, mothers day...we are deeply in love and he proposed last year Sept 15th, 2018 on a beautiful island in Cartagena... we had my best friend and her boyfriend come along the trip... I am so afraid that our age gap might be a red flag for immigration... we are a very cute couple, you can not even notice the age difference.. we have too much fun together... and we already experienced living together for a whole year...
