@Munachimso, can you please fill in your Timeline? It will help others tremendously.
In particular, when did you file your AOS, NOA date and biometrics date. Thank you!

I just got my Approvals in the mail for EAD and AP. It’s valid for a year. They said they send card soon. Heard we can use this approval to work now!

We also regret of not filing AOS sooner. My husband came on ESTA to visit me in February and we filed AOS at the end of April , two weeks before his I-94 expired.

My husband got Code 2 assigned. His biometrics will be on 8/28. We filed three applications: I-485+I-765+I-131 for him. Does Code 2 mean he will be having his fingerprints taken only once, for all three applications?

Unbelievable, isn’t it? He’s not even concerned that these “friends” might not be friends but a group of people who have taken advantage of a young, vulnerable (and possibly lonely) woman. I dread to think what they could be getting up to. Especially the “hard to manage” comments - could drugs be involved? Who knows...

He didn’t even ask about how to get help for potential mental health issues. I’m wondering what the mother thinks of all this?

    Agree.

I find it cruel to bring someone over on a K-1 or K-2 and not file to adjust their status.  Letting someone become undocumented is bad.  Letting them become undocumented knowing that the K-1/K-2 petitioner is the only way for them to get a green card is worse.

God it's so sad to see that a) more often than not applicants know WAY more about regulation than the USCIS employees that decide our cases, and b) how two women can be so small-minded to accept that someone may want to do things in a different way than what they know and that different way being totally okay and awesome.

You should complain. I would find out who the director for that field office is and complain my ### off.

OP, by Internet etiquette using capital letters is SCREAMING. There is no need to be loud, we can hear you well, thank you.

    Come on now, calm down.

There is no way USCIS is going to be able to link OPs post and a future I-129F/I-130.

There is no need to virtue signal.  Technically I (and MANY,. MANY other) have committed fraud by marrying on a B2 visa.  And even though I wrote that I met my ex while she was here on a B2 visa, and we talked beforehand, not one flag was raised, in fact we got approved in record time back in 2015.

If anything just the annulment alone MIGHT raise a flag, but unless OP writes the exact same thing on the RFE or the application OP has almost nothing to worry about.

I AM NOT CONDONING MARRIAGE FRAUD.  Time out in 4... 3.. 2.. 1..

The marriage was legit... but you were never serious. That does not sound "legit".

Most people do not marry "friends" to "help them get documents" - getting married to circumvent immigration law is not exactly legit.

The marriage was legit. The only reason I filed for annulment was because we had no connection after and she was disrespectful. I used the term "friends" because she was never really serious with me but then she also wouldn't let go of me so I thought marrying her would let her stay. Meanwhile my now fiance was serious with me so I decided to choose her instead

The problem is you helped someone commit immigration fraud. I don’t see how you don’t see that’s the problem. How do you prove that isn’t the case with this one?

I just received my annulment decree. I married a friend last year to help get her documents but I felt she didn't appreciate me and use to disrespect me so I decided to annul the marriage and bring my fiancee through K1 visa. Will the annulment affect my K1 application?

If you care about her enough to sponsor her studies and/or world travels, look into student or tourist visa for her.
