If it has been 90 or more days since receipt of your RFE - put in a service request for case being outside processing times. 3. Ombudsman to chase up the status or even congressional representation (senator or congressman's immigration liaison - they have direct line of communication with USCIS - go on your representative's website, fill out the privacy release form so they can act on your behalf and send it in and then follow up with them to make sure they've received it and are working on it). 

I honestly have no clue with that.  If you have not yet, I would post in the Adjustment of status forum for K1.  I know that is where I should be studying up to prepare.  I am still waiting on my NOA-2 for the I-129F petition.  Definitely do not lose hope but check that forum for answers.

There is a very recent poster who was a passenger in car stopped by police.  Because she had not filed AOS prior to the expiration of her I-94, she was jailed for 5 weeks before getting out.  Her case is still on-going........I would get that I-485 in the mail asap.

Have we heard any updates about this since then as they were also going into removal proceedings wasnt she??

Visa expiration is meaningless as it became void the moment she entered.  So forget about that.  The critical date is what does the i94 say or the date stamped in her passport by the CBP

Then your wife is already out of status. Recommend to file for AOS soon and avoid running into cops even accidentally.
 
Visa expiry date is to enter the US by that date.

Then she has been out of status since May 19th.......she is now subject to deportation with no protection. 

File ASAP. It doesn't matter how out of status she is anymore, what matters is that you file AOS so that you don't get into any trouble. As soon as you get your NOA1 you don't need to stress because she will have an authorized stay.

Mine im approved july 30 until now they never receive my case from USCIS i dunnot now its almost two months this end of this month🤧

Me since july 30 im approved and keep calling NVC and USCIS until now i dont have my case number yet so i call my senator to help me its been almost two months NVC never recieve my case i dunno what to do 😩

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!
I am not sure how to start, I think I am still in shock. I decided to call USCIS today because i didn't receive the letter I was supposed to get, I spoke with another wonderful lady. I was patient and waited for her to get through her process and verification questions. I told her that i was calling because i didn't receive the explanation letter for why my case could not be expedited, and then i added if she can check the status of my case and let me know if someone is still reviewing it. She said one moment while she checks, she came back on the phone and told me that my case have been approved today and the letter was just sent out, dated 08/08/18. what a special date. i am so in shock, i have not called my fiance yet, i feel like i should just wait for the system to update by tonight or tomorrow to show the approval before i tell her, in case i am dreaming.
I was just so emotional when she said you have been approved, i asked her to make sure please because i must be dreaming, she said she cant lie about something like this. i say God bless you very well and if i could see you right now, i would hug you so much. 
i got off the phone and cried by myself for a few minutes, then composed myself and got back to work. it still feels so surreal. i have not told anyone but you guys because we have all been through this tough journey together since January, 7 months. we are family. i promise to remain here with you guys my fiends and help out as i can.
i will put all you my remaining friends in my prayers that you too will receive your blessing of approval, in Jesus name. Amen.

Wow!  I am so happy for you congrats!  Seeing everyone calling the USCIS and getting approvals makes me want to call and see if I am approved as well.  I have the same dates as you do!

I’m really glad he is coming out, too. So far, looking at mid-Oct, prices are really decent! And hopefully, if I’m not there already, then maybe I can have an interview while he’s here? Fingers crossed for both of us x

We will all get there. Let us just trust the Heavenly Father’s time. One day our stars will be aligned in our favor and we will get our approval. Cheer up guys we still have tomorrow.
