I agree, but I would use the space on the last page to write a quick explanation that you've used the work address and why.  There will be another opportunity to provide a current address at the NVC stage.  No need to worry about it until then.
  3. Thanks

You can't provide what you don't have 😉 So yeah, you're fine. Also send copies of the passport pages showing the stamps from entering the country to visit.

Yup, but you can translate them yourself IF you're fluent in Spanish and English. You also have to write a statement that you're fluent in both.
Don't send too many texts, since they're not hard proof you met in the last 2 years. Pictures, plane tickets, hotel bookings etc are more important in this proces.

Basically what others said already, depends on the school. Some schools won't even accept K1 holders that are in the AOS process (before EAD) since they have no proof of legal status (although this is pretty uncommon)
The community college I went to for info told me I can enroll, but have to pay international student fees as long as I don't have my green card. Not sure why some schools do that and other let you pay the in state tuition, but make sure you get all the info before enrolling in any school to avoid financial surprises.

If you did not get any correspondence from USCIS after more than 1,5 years, why would you not have contacted USCIS?
Also, if you're as USC you're SEVERELY outside normal processing times (about 1 year) with every SC, so you'd be able to request an inquiry.

Please let us know if your USC or LPR and which SC you filed.

C90 got a reaction from Celie in ESTA Entry with K1 Visa Marry after 90 days
I didn't see any stories, but basically the only rule is marry within 90 days. I would not be surprised if they deny your AOS if you marry after the 90 days, simply cause you're not eligible anymore since you didn't do the only thing you had to do lol. But I could be wrong, didn't do research on this.

You have to fill out I-9 at one point, if you are not legally allowed to work you can't even fill that out. So just SSN without EAD or GC is not enough (unless your a USC but that's not the case for OP)

Anyway, OP you're fine. Happy job hunting!

C90 reacted to K1visaHopeful in K1: Delay AOS to get 10 Green Card
USCIS will allow it but it may not be a good idea.
1.The intending immigrant will be out of status. If picked up by immigration they may be forced in front of an immigration judge and be forced to apply for AOS within a short span of time or face removal proceedings. (Rare).
    2. The intending immigrant will be unable to work, drive (in most states) and will be unable to leave the US and return. Is the immigrant really okay with having no life?
    3. It will delay when the intending immigrant can become naturalized as a USC as the 3 year time clock does not start ticking until they are approved for their first GC.

Best to double check with the consulate on translations. Consulate in Amsterdam requires Dutch documents to be translated or they can't approve you. Simple reason is that most IO's are actually American. Usually it should state in the letter you get if they need translations or native language only is sufficient enough

C90 got a reaction from ElaineMartindale in SSN for my fiancé before the wedding?
Yup, requested my replacement card (had an SSN from years ago) before our wedding. Had to go through manual verification twice (once for the replacement card in my maiden name and 1 week later when I applied in my married name. Officer even recognized me lol), but got both cards without trouble (except MV) before my I-94 expired.

It's best to get it asap. A lot of banks and insurances request an SSN (not all, but a lot). You need an SSN to get a DL (PA allows you to get your DL while AOS is pending) My husband had to provide my SSN to put me on his health- and car insurance.

Don't apply before the 90 days start or they'll return your whole package. The date you mentioned is fine.
From the stories and timelines here on VJ ROC is a long process right now (1-2 years processing times, where most people get approved after about 1,5 years), but as said before, you get an extension so you still hold your LPR status.

True, but it doesn't affect the green card process in any way. I-485 gets processed the same way, not matter which state you live in. The only difference is processing times per local office.

*Edit: Since OP posts in IR1/CR1 forum I assume that's the visa they're gonna use. In that case I-485 is n/a and there will be no difference in immigration policy since he/she gets the GC right away

I recently got my EAD, and every interview I have the first question they ask is "why the heck did you trade in the Netherlands for the USA?!" (so much for patriotism lol) I don't really mind, I take it as a compliment.
Although today at work, I couldn't read someone's handwriting and I asked what it said. My co worker read it (it said passed away, but it looked at pet something) and then they asked if I've ever heard of that word.... I know she meant it really well, but it made me feel so dumb. I am fluent in English. So that kinda sucked, but maybe I'm just overthinking lol.
