So far it is the way to talk to a person rather than a recording.
If it does not work, please come back to report.

Even though there are more red flags in this case than I can count, I can’t help but think that she will probably get away with it and you are able to provide her with the grand prize she was after. At this point, I am not even sure if/when USCIS even looks into these cases.

Maybe it’s the heat, but I am starting to lose my faith that these (pretty obvious) cases of immigration fraud actually get noticed.. It just gets me down.. So many of us here had to jump through all the hoops and be patient in order to do this right, while others just play the system and get away with it.

I have no advice for you, you seem to be very aware of what is happening and no matter what we would tell you here, you will most likely continue with the process, so what do you want us to say really? Our remarks/questions will be answered with a “Yes, but…”, so we are not adding any real value here. Nobody here wil help you to justify what is happening..

Current estimate for I-90 processing for GC replacement is 18 months, so your case is still within normal processing time -- https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Do you need to travel internationally soon?  If so, call USCIS for an InfoPass appointment to get an I-551 ADIT stamp.

Ours was left by UPS in the USCIS mail room on November 13 and we are still waiting... I’ve seen in this thread that other filers who sent theirs around the same date have recently had their card charged/cash checked. Hopefully before Christmas 🤷🏼‍♂️

Entering the US with the intent to marry, stay and adjust status is immigration fraud and will result in a lifetime ban from the U.S.

Stop listening to advice from friends and do research on the process, starting with the guides at the top of the page.

GazLisa reacted to corvusheart in Moving to the UK together if N400 gets denied
Hello everyone. My husband was almost done with the immigration process with citizenship when after interview we got a RFE for more relationship evidence. We are 100% legit and have tax returns, leases, health insurance etc but it seems to not be a thick enough paper file for uscis. If the application gets denied based on us not having enough evidence he will be in danger of deportation since uscis will not believe we are legit.

I'm trying to put together a backup plan. Moving to the UK together. One of the requirements is that he is to have recently been living there obviously he doesn't meet that requirement because he's been here.

However under the exception list is the following: there would be very significant difficulties for you and your partner if you lived together as a couple outside the UK that could not be overcome.

Would him being deported count as one of those?
And for the financial requirement I know you have to have $20,000 in savings. We don't have that. Could we take out a cash loan and we pay it back from the UK?
Final question is I have a chronic medical condition Type 1 diabetes. Would this make me inadmissible?

A $700 plane ticket is out of the question but you want to start a family? Boy are you in for a rude awakening regarding the cost of raising a family.

Did I read that correctly? You are wanting to start a family with someone you haven’t seen for years and have never been alone with? Sounds like infatuation to me.

    This.

We spent probably less than $3000 on our wedding. Free venue etc. We're planning on doing a small family celebration when we go to the UK over summer too.

I think everything has been said already...

But you make it work... you get your ### on that plane go see her spend sometime... We are in a similar position just buying a new family home in the states... but guess what we still got on that plane... we just decided to have a small wedding will be 7 of us... then a month later we are holding a family party at our house... You don't need a big fancy wedding to be in love or to be married... You need time together, a willingness to be together and at the moment you showing a lack in the very things that make it work.

Focus on the priorities not the frilly extra stuff

GazLisa reacted to Roel in Have not seen fiance within 2-year period before filing petition.
You know what extreme hardship is?

If you'd be so sick you wouldn't be able to leave a hospital bed and have a long list of medical reasons for why you can't travel AND your fiance would need a history of refused visas to US to try to visit you. And even then, getting a waiver would be HARD.

Being cheap is not a hardship.

    Hahahahha no.

    Omg that's actually hilarious.

Please call USCIS that you want them to waive the MOST important requirement of K1 Visa because you dont want to spend money on a plane ticket. Amazing.
