Bring pictures to interview if any.   Most important is with k-1 visa you get officially married in US before visa expires.

Yeah.  You will need social security number to apply for driver license, open bank account and such so best to get it as your spouse enters Port of entry but it's not detrimental that wasn't done early. Get it as soon as you can and let things work out itself.  Since you didn't get it before marriage you saved yourself a trip to the Ssn office  to update the name on the card.
Let it fall where it may.

In my opinion Marriage ceremony wouldn't count as a bona fida marriage.  A actually legal Vietnamese marriage certification  would count as bona fida.   I had my marriage ceremony in Vietnam with my wife's family and friends.  We didn't file any paperwork in Vietnam to register our marriage at the local government office.  Once the wife arrived in US after 90 days we files for marriage license and officially got married in the US.  Technically my wife isn't married in the eyes of the Vietnam government since paperwork wasn't filed there.  She could marry another Vietnamese guy I suppose. Lol.
Don't overthink it. K-1 would be your option if not officially married in Vietnam.

At the k-1 visa interview they may ask you if you got engaged or had a ceremony.  My wife answered that she was engaged and  had a ceremony only.   One requirement for k-1 visa is your Vietnamese wife submit a single status certificate saying she not married.

People like this making it difficult for other Vietnamese to immigrate to US.  That's why Vietnam is considered high fraud country and honest Vietnamese people don't have it easy.

If its under 18, you were charged differently and not as an adult.  You were a juvenile when you were charged and won't effect your application.  No worries. Juvenile records are sealed and unavailable outside of juvenile courts.  US courts gives kids chances to correct themselves instead of ruining their lives.   I know someone who  at age 17 broke the law  and got arrested and did fine in their immigration journey.

Passed N400 interview.  Study the 100 question from the 2008 version. Write the questions and answers to practice the writing portion of the test.   Study and understand the N400 form questions specifically the "Have you ever.." questions.  Have someone preferably an English native speaker read and test you on the questions to practice listening portion of the test.  Prepare to show your current filed tax forms or tax filing extension if you didn't file your taxes, yet.  After all, paying your taxes is one requirement of becoming a US Citizen. All in all, it is not that hard.  Good luck to all!  😎

K-1 is best if you are unsure about getting married.  It's like a trial period for both of you   if you know you are getting married without a doubt go the CR1 route.  It really depends on your circumstances too .
But if married less than 2 years you still need to paperwork and pay the fees for AOS and ROC.   In terms of supporting evidence you can reuse them with updates so makes it bit easier when applying.
In a way , k1 and CR1 are about the same.  Just do what feels best for you.

Hey guys, just wanted to update you all, I had my interview & the interviewer didn’t ask for anything other than both of our government ID’s.

He approved my case on the spot, just got a notice from USCIS online to say my card has been produced!

    Thanks for all the help!

One time I was considering hiring a Vietnamese immigration lawyer and when visiting her office she had piles of what appeared to be supporting documents of one of several client all over her desk in easily visible from my view.  That raised a red flag and didn't bother to hire one since.  In my mind these lawyers wont give you the attention that you might need to get it right the first time.  If your situation is not too complex you can do it yourself.  I've gotten to N-400 step for my wife and didn't need one. On the other hand if your case is complex then perhaps do your research and seek advise from seasoned filers in forums like Visajourney or seek consultation but you take the lead not done high priced lawyers who just see you as client # X.

After waiting since April due to covid, my fiance finally had her interview today and was rejected. We have met 5 times prior to covid and haven't been able to be together for over 1.5 years due to covid. The interviewer said they did not have time to look over the paperwork, and in the same breath told my fiance that she didn't bring enough evidence to support our case that we have a "bona fide relationship". It's very very unclear to me how we can provide more evidence supporting our relationship when the time wasn't taken to review the material that we brought in the first place. How can we have any chance to win on this?  They asked her if I was present (which clearly I was not) and it's not possible to go to Vietnam currently because they're still closed from covid. That seems like a really stupid question to even ask her since they've been closed since March 2020.

I-751 receipt numbers with the prefix MSC are routed for interview scheduling; receipt numbers that do not contain the MSC prefix (e.g., EAC, VSC, LIN, etc.) are routed to the appropriate service center for an interview waiver determination. The speakers also clarified that, if the jointly filed I-751 petition is pending at the time of the N-400 interview, an applicant should bring his or her petitioning spouse to the naturalization interview.

National Benefits Center (NBC) The NBC was created by USCIS in 2001. The NBC's mission is to process applications that are to be sent to a local service center for interview. Each application (work authorization, travel document, spouse visa and green card application) is assigned a case number.

I encourage everyone to double and triple check their exact eligibility date to file and wait few days to mail it or file online.   Filing Few days later is much better than refiling and losing your application fee.
