People like this making it difficult for other Vietnamese to immigrate to US.  That's why Vietnam is considered high fraud country and honest Vietnamese people don't have it easy.

So what does it say?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

it has always been the case / no matter what the country is

"one bad apple can ruin a whole bushel "

watching youtube about border and airline security,  we see USC(s) with criminal records trying to get into Canada anyway they can

we have our bad apples too

There are a lot of fake marriages between U.S. and Vietnam. My VN wife has been asked to help with the scam arrangements. It doesn't amuse (or tempt) her because we spent a lot of time, money, and energy getting her to America. The fakers disgust me.

I once heard a story that a crack head  got 10 grant to marry someone. She then refused to consummate the marriage so he beat her and she ended up getting her green card because of it and he had to spend the 10 grant in legal fees.

funny how the USA cared about this but don't care about all the illegal people from the southern borders.

100% agree!!!!

our southern border is a complete joke... so many illegals are crossing into the US everyday and no one from the government bats an eye.

i think the US goobermint has some type of deal with Mexico which is why they dont care about the southern border...

but when someone from another country tries to come to the US, border patrol will watch them like a hawk...

there is no other reasonable explanation...

The scam can also be to get the money and not marry/not file for any immigration benefits.  I think it's more common, since it's easier to repeat multiple times.

Great report a couple years back with cases from another country - with dowry involved, it was a great money making scheme, as far as illegal activities go (low risk, high reward).

@Boiler. @poh

Yep. Always a few who ruin it for the rest of us. This system is by far the worst in our government.
