I tried researching but I can’t seem to find a forum for December filers so I thought I make one myself.

wish you all the best of luck on this final part of our journey. ❤️

I had a hard time doing my N400 as so much has been going on life wise and have been recovering since that bad snow storm we had in Texas back in February of this year . Happy to say now that things are back on track and hope to get my citizenship soon. :)

Well that was quick,

I got an update stating that they will use my old biometrics. Thank goodness cause missing work is a pain in the butt lol.

Can’t  wait for an interview date and hopefully it doesn’t take to long . ❤️

Someone started another thread last week where I updated my case as well. Maybe we should ask MODS to merger both!

Thank you for this , cuz I researched all of visajourney site as best as I could and i even try to find it through google but nothing came up, thank you for this link ♥️

To get this forum rolling while the mods merge both, let’s help each other out on what we provided for the N-400.

For the N-400 I provided:

- Green Card photo (front + back)

- Marriage License (front + back)

- Proof of Husbands citizenship for the USA

- 3 years of tax returns (2018,2019,2020)

- Latest bill of our joint bank account

- Latest Bill of our Loan together

- Lease Agreement and the Renewal Lease Agreement

very little I am assuming a lot of people are probably thinking, but me and my husband don’t have much as we are just normal people living a basic necessity life so I am hoping this will be enough for them and hopefully they have some of our old info still on record as well ❤️

as mentioned on my timeline I came to the states on a K1 visa, so I’m doing my citizenship based on my 3 years of permanent residency and being married to my husband which now adds up to 6 years as of January 7th 2022.

hope to hear from the rest of the December 2021 filers . ;)

hello friends,

I have two questions:

I filed on Dec 3rd and received the following message on my profile:

"it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for a biometrics
appointment"

1. do you think still they may arrange Biometrics appointment for me?

2. It says on my account that it takes approximately 13 months to process my case, while USCIS website shows 19 months for N400.

 which one is more accurate?

if you did your N-400 online their should be info under document were they will send you a letter stating they will reuse your old biometrics, and if you have not gotten that document then it is possible they might schedule you one or end up using your old biometrics. :)

as for the time frame I would go based on what the USCIS website says as they go based on which building they will do your interview

I have done it by mail and received letter saying they will reuse my old Biometrics.

But I remember for i751 they told me the same and after one year they asked me to do Biometrics.

Adding my name to the list since I just filed today!
