This kid who was an absolute jerk to me in high school and thought he was better than everyone else.... also became a paramedic (funny that), then got into drugs, became one of Colorado's most arrested people, abused his wife, got another chance and had his license reinstated, only to bonk it all up again.... is still a jerk, but at least everyone sees it now. 

My kids dug out my yearbook from Junior high school. 
I looked in my class, and did a quick search on a couple of names that I remembered. 
Pull up a FB page and in her friends, I saw a lot of kids that I went to school with. 
And ya know, it really is just like the movies....

Well then you should know that divorce doesn't cancel your obligation.  I'm sorry you have to go through this.  Hopefully he naturalizes at the 5 year mark and you don't need to worry about him using public benefits.

I also think you are underestimating the cost of her being here too. You won’t save that much of your $1000 that you are currently sending each month. She will need healthcare. She won’t be eligible for any public assistance so you will have to pay for healthcare at current marketplace prices for her. My employer covers my premiums but to add my husband onto my plan costs $450 a month for the cheapest option. And that’s just the premiums. Then there are the extra groceries, general consumables, etc. She won’t be eligible to make any money here at all for many, many months. And that includes selling crafts on Etsy, casual babysitting for cash, helping out a friend or family member in return for goods or services. So if she needs a new pair of shoes, wants to buy a book, needs to take an Uber someplace...it’s all on you. 
 
This then begs the question of why someone with a spare grand to send overseas each month needs a joint sponsor. Does the joint sponsor realize they are making a contract with the government, potentially for the rest of their natural life, that could see them sued for thousands? 

so how you get a new interview date is that you will miss the interview and then you'll have to reschedule yourself.  Montreal needs to know you are doing this ahead of time.  
At what point did you try to delay things at the NVC? If you just didn't submit something you can delay for a year but it sounds like you just submitted everything when it came up.

Basically him naturalizing, working 40 quarters in the US (10 years), or him abandoning his green card and leaving the US are the only options that'll get you off the hook.
 
As long as he's working, has an income above the federal poverty line, and is not using government benefits (like food stamps, medicaid), you should be in the clear.

Once a visa has been issued, the holder must enter the US before the expiration date printed on the visa.  The expiration date will be up to 6 months from the date the medical exam was completed.  
 
Once the visa holder enters the US, marriage must take place within 90 days of entry.  It is strongly advised to apply for adjustment of status within that same 90 day period.

Ours is almost identical situation. My husband's interview was last week and when asked for our US address he gave my brother's which is where we have resided for years when we are there visiting. We also uploaded a notarized letter with that information to NVC with all our other documents. I also uploaded whatever proof of my domicile I have, along with a letter on my behalf stating my intent to re-establish domicile in US,  even though I have lived in Canada for many years with my spouse (I am also a Canadian PR). We also have to sell our house here in Canada and are planning on purchasing a house in the US as soon as we can freely drive back and forth but Covid has put a damper on that at the moment. The CO understood all of that when my husband told him all of that and all was good. His interview only took an hour!

If you haven't look at bike helmets recently there seems to be a surge in butt ugly ones. Not sure why they insist on adding spikes to some of them that just seem more ridiculous and then you kid goes and pokes and eye out while crashing into others lol.

Well, she is very pretty and her skin is lovely. But she is also 24, which certainly helps! I think she's a little ridiculous, but then again, she is 24, that's kind of in the job description, and that must be amplified if (1) you're a Baldwin and (2) you're also a Bieber.
