Depends on the locale (USCIS office, or Federal Courthouse).  In Detroit there were no restrictions on visitors.

There were no restrictions here in NH, there were at 8 of us who went to my husband's ceremony. There was limited seating though and many guests had to stand. I would check with your local office.

Even during the pandemic in the beginning of 2021 there were no restrictions on visitors at the Los Angeles field office - this because our oath ceremonies are outdoors, so anybody can come watch. Totally depends on your particular field office, some don't allow any visitors. If you search this site, you might find other people who have been through your particular field office who can shed some light on this.

No guests in Houston.  When we did the kids' oath ceremony last month, only a parent per kid.

Very location dependent. I was not allowed inside the USCIS office during my husband's N-400 interview or the oath ceremony. All guests watched through the windows.

Had my husbnads June 5th  2024 in Houston, they let all the guests in and didnt even ask who your there with.

Delivered to USCIS Lock Box:  11/15/2023

Credit Card payment processed:  11-16-2023

Received Receipt #   via Text:  11-17-2023

I-797C Receipt received:  11-27-2023

Biometrics  will be reused per letter: 11-27-2023

Interview Feb  21st, 2018 for I-485

Interview  May 13th, 2019 for I-130 Stokes interview ( 5 minutes)

NOID issued May 17th 2019

June 5th,2019   USCIS received my response per NOID,   Addressed the NOID myself, No lawyer ever used in case.

July 1st, 2019  10 YEAR GREEN CARD APPROVED

July 5th, 2019   Approval letters for I-130 & I-485 received in the USPS  mail.

July 11th 2019   Green Card in Hand
