How to complain about USCIS?

Hi Friends,

I am very frustrating and angry about USCIS. I saw other people in Orlando applied months later than me already got their citizenship and interview. And my cases are still in NBC and no update at all. It has been 10 month since I applied for citizenship. I applied in May 2022. It is very ridiculous and shouldn’t take this long. I think it is very unfair that they didn’t process cases based on the receive date. I want to make a complaint about this. I already asked my senator for help but my cases are still in NBC. Does anyone know what I can do?

Relax.

Mine was 1.5 years.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

There are no guarantees in this process. Each case is unique.

You can probably sue USCIS, that would be a way of "complaining" and getting a decision faster.

I know it's frustrating, but I doubt you can get any help from them until you are beyond their stated normal processing times.

Your case has nothing to do with anyone else’s.   You can complain fill the cows come home, but it won’t make the wait time shorter.

If you have a spare $5-7k to file a writ of mandamus, you could potentially speed things up that way.

If you’re “within normal processing time,” it’s just more waiting.

It is very disappointing that they processed people who applied later than me and my cases are still no movement. I think it is extremely unfair. I will try different ways to complain and push them if I can.

Immigration is unfair. Life in general is unfair.

You can try opening a case inquiry whenever your case is out of usual processing times. Good luck!

I know it is unfair but I don’t want to tolerate this BS. That is why I am trying to do something to make it less unfair. At least I should do something and try.

Withdraw your application. Easy. It's not a must one becomes a USC.

I found you very hilarious. Why would I withdraw my application? I am frustrating because it takes so long to be a USC. If I don’t care to be a USC, why would I spend the money and time to do this. I am trying to finish my application. I don’t understand why you are saying that. It is not very nice honestly
