  1. We married online, through Utah in December as well, I had to travel to Philippines to consummate in March. Our paperwork had me living in the US and her living at her address in the Philippines. We submitted our paperwork after I returned to the US. Utah county never said she couldn’t use her address in the Philippines. Maybe they changed that after you filed.
  2. I’m wondering if I have a problem about a civil document being not really clear from the Philippines. I’ve just submitted the I-130 paperwork a couple of months ago, but used an overly inky birth certificate for my stepson. I’ve since gotten a clearer copy that took my wife a couple of months to get back from PSA. Does anyone know if it’s best to submit that after the fact of my online submission, ( will that change my submission date?) and if it will be seen before they issue an RFE? I think there is a place, (I believe) to add to my file on the USCiS site. My approximate date for review is next February, as shown here on VJ.
  3. Great, thanks for the information about the name change!
  4. We have the same problem about a civil document being not really clear from the Philippines. Another issue we have is I made the mistake of not changing my wife’s name when we married online, while now the ROM paperwork is in the process of being mailed to Philippines from consulate and we want to change her name before getting too far in this process, does anyone think that would be a problem? Thanks
  5. Thanks, I already got my 9a Philippine visa, made it to the Philippines on the last day possible for unvaccinated foreigners, February 9th, consummated the marriage, came back to US after a month or so, filed the Cr-1 and Cr-2 visa paperwork, now am in the long wait mode! I wonder how long this will be...
  6. I have issues with 2 Of my Stepchild’s birth certificates. The original and the Cartier true copy. The 1st one (original, dated 01/07/2010) is not dark enough to read, the 2nd, “the certified true copy, dated 08/06/2021) is too dark of ink (too much ink used). I also have an “Office of the City Civil Registrar” document, (dated 04/04/2022) official for, showing all of the important information listed and certified by them. My question is in filing the I-130 for my stepson, do I submit all copies of these documents? The office has already told my wife that this is all they would give her.
  7. Thank you very much for all of your help and advice. I really appreciate it. I’ll be filing for wife tonight.
  8. Yes, I have read different form instructions on uscis and visajourney. I have 3 leases I’ve stayed, 1 with her on it, another she arranged before I got here, with messages between me and the owner, and another with her and her son listed as tenants under my lease. Have several itineraries and a few boarding passes. I included visa stamps as well as 9a spousal visa. About 30 or so photo and a few messages of us when apart. The one area now I’m concerned about is any evidence for her son needed on his I-130 Appl., or is that not important, since he’ll be coming with her. Also, Are photos or any other evidence required to be mailed in? I’ve never found that anywhere in the instructions on either site. Since most is being sent online, which is fairly new.
  9. Hello, I’m getting ready to submit my I-130, I-130a for my wife online. I was wondering if any documents have to be mailed in, (like passport photos or any other relevant documents)? I My included documents are entered under Additional proof of marriage, including Cover Letter, copy of g-1145 Passport stamps, etc. They are not necessarily in order of my Cover Letter though, because I kept adding additional documents. Is there anything I need to change and anything anyone else can think of before submitting? Thanks for all of the advice on here. i also will be submitting another I-130 later today for her 12 year old son, does anyone know of any additional Evidence I need submit along with that file? I know, I’ve got to include prior marriages, deaths, marriage certificate to mother, child’s birth certificate. 8ve been told I don’t need photos of us together, I believe, is that correct? Anything else I’m missing? Again, thanks for any relevant advice!
  10. Yes, my mistake. I meant this post for the stepson’s I-130. So just mainly submit the evidence I have stated along with photos of us together? Also, when filling out the paper copy for myself, about beneficiary’s family, it only lists spouse or child family info. Luckily, it’s only my backup copy, maybe I should list mother’s information and maybe mine there, or is that incorrect? I’m talking about Part 4, 25a and beyond. Thanks for your advice!
  11. Hello, I’ve reviewed the General instructions for evidence of the I-130 and it mainly asks for marriage to the mother info, birth certificate of the child and maybe one other item. If anyone has done this, is photos together, a lease with the mother and financial support enough of evidence to satisfy the USCIS requirements for filing? Also, I have divorce, death certs. Is anything else required as far as evidence for this I-130? I will be submitting it online after the 130 and 130a for his mother.
  12. Wouldn’t it go under the Additional proof of marriage upload?
  13. Ok, thank you. I was just trying to figure out where to upload them...
  14. Are photo’s of relationship uploaded for I-130/130a or during the Ds-260 filing?
