  1. So, I guess I have no other choice than to wait 2 years to get her and her son here.
  2. No, I was going to do a K-1 until I found out how long they’re taking. Also, my marriage letter had expired before I left the Philippines and they weren’t renewing them at the time. Many k-1’s now are taking 650 days or so from the Philippines.
  3. We consummated the marriage for over 2 years before. The US taking 2 years to approve K-1’s from the Philippines now, sucks big-time!
  4. No, that’s not possible, as I’m not able to get back there. We’ve already been together for over 2 years, I don’t see why that would be an issue!
  5. I wonder how this would work in my situation? Back in January of 2019 I moved to the Philippines to live with my girlfriend, we lived together until February of 2021, when I couldn’t stand the covid restrictions there any longer and moved back to the US. I’m wondering if all I need to do is this Zoom marriage like you did and process the marriage paperwork instead of the K-1 paperwork like I was getting ready to do? It seems the Philippines is taking close to 2 years for K-1 visas.
