Yes there is. I do realize there are many red flags. However, that was not spoken about at all in the interview and they are requesting additional proof. Yes but in order to help you would need to know why they asked for more . I would ask for more letters from family members . More pics. More hotel bookings

I've uploaded 200 photos of us and us with family from the start of our relationship (2019) until now, Airbnb/hotel receipts from 9 separate stays and affidavits from my family and his.

I am here in Egypt now but no, they did not allow anyone in for the interview except those being interviewed.

Sorry you’ve had this experience, I remember you posted about it before the interview and we told you not to submit any explanation about your previous marriages. I still stand by this.

 

My take on this as a MENA-er is this — divorce is very taboo in our culture, and divorced women are considered devalued especially in Egyptian culture. COs know this, and the CO probably thinks if you were not American, your husband would not have married you. My advice would be to send in evidence that supports your husband fulfilling his role as an Arab man, like financial support, things he does FOR YOU. The burden of proof is on your husband here, not you.

Since you are in Egypt at the moment, i suggest you make your presence count. Make a copy of EVERYTHING you could think of as regards to your relationship. Every consulate have specific appointment days for USC, find out what day that is and go into the consulate as a USC. I believe when you get in there, you can ask to speak to a supervisor at the Consular/Immigration Unit. If you're lucky enough, you might be asked some questions which will help influence your case. Since your case is still on Administrative Processing, going there will influence some of their decisions. They might call your husband back for a second interview and clear things up...Show up there and try to speak to someone who matters.

 

 

Sometimes, these IO are grumpy, tired, going through life difficulties and unleash this on interviewee. A good case might have a bad IO and vice versa.

  I will guess the person doing the interview was Egyptian national and Because of the age difference and your past marriage and divorce, the CO is making this process hard

 

The 221g says AP so you need to take some photos of this trip plus copy of this boarding pass and submit those to the embassy (case #, both your names and DOB's on evidence you supply and don't' send the original boarding pass-as u may need it for future proofs)

 

allow this AP to play out as heartbreaking as it will be

the CO may have to approve this petition with all the evidence u have given

 

just don't give up as that is the ultimate goal of the CO -to make it so rough the USC gives up (I have met many who do)

 

A CO can find any small piece of evidence to deny the petition but the real issue would be big age difference and your divorce

I just want to say and this might not be the case with you but I have had zero good experiences with anyone at the US Embassy in Cairo. I’m sorry this has happened to you and I hope it gets resolved very soon. All the employees I’ve had direct communication with have been useless. Good luck to you

We've never emailed each other because we communicate via messenger. And phone bill? We call via messenger so there are no charges. 

 

I'm just not sure what else I have to upload 🤷‍♀️

The White House and congress can be of no help.   They do not interfere in consular decisions at all.

The consular section of an embassy doesn’t assist USCs with their family-based visas.   There is a separate section of the embassy that provides services to USCs, not related to visas.

I've heard the same as well. Seems the only ones it's easy for are those couples who are both Egyptian.

1. Start with a Sworn Affidavit from you ( USC Petitioner) attesting to the commitment and validity of your marriage. Very clearly state that you flew down to Egypt to support your spouse during the interview and make yourself available to the CO. ( show itinerary, passport, photos ).lad a couple of other details, such as we want to have children ( or not), you could not obtain ITIN for him and thus file joint taxes…explain you could not add him to US credit accounts or utility accounts until he joins you in the US..( THIS IS FLUFF ..but important to highlight) …Google a Health Directive POA from your state of residence and both of you sign/ complete and state you have not drawn up a will or testament yet .

You've got some good suggestions about what to do.  It's clear to me the problems are related to you serial sponsoring of now 3 family based immigration of men, AND probably your (significant?) reverse age difference.  What are both your actual ages?  Yes, beginning your relationship while still legally married is one of the issues too, but that's why somebody mentioned it was probably an Egyptian National that conducted the interview.  They really should not be projecting their own religious or moral values into the decisions but humans are humans.

 

Since this is not an outright denial, there's a good chance you can overcome this hurdle.  Somebody else, not the initial interviewer, is going to make the final decision.  An actual American more senior.

I thought this as well. But it seems like most people think this shouldn’t be acknowledged? 
 

my thoughts are they should be acknowledged (since they already brought it up), indicate that these were bona-fide relationships that did not work (indicate dates of divorce) but indicate that you are looking forward to starting life with your new husband.
