Or when you take it off on the plane to eat or drink, cramped in a row of tiny seats. But what was more interesting back in the day before the vaccines, is that airlines would still ask to socially distance when walking in the aisles, cause the moment you get up and start moving covid attacks faster 😄

Back in the Summer when my wife traveled, the antigen test was not allowed, they required the PCR test specifically.  I do agree, soon we will have travel bans tied to reactionary thought(s).

IMO.. Omicron is a blessing in disguise, it's the most mild variant to date and it transmits the easiest and the fastest,  which means it will dominate, CDC already announced today that it's become the dominate.. Were well on our way out of this pandemic and into a endemic, fully treatable with therapeutics that will soon be on the market, but expect a long wait if you want it, the old dunce in the White House was asleep at the switch.

In 2001 I got a CR1 visa in Colombia for my wife.  Direct Consular Filing.  It took 3 weeks!!!  Even before the pandemic it was taking months with better technology now.  The system is a mess now.  The priority now are the Afgans and illegals it seems.
