The tax transcript can be downloaded instantly off the IRS website, and obviously can be uploaded immediately after that. Why doesn’t  he have time for this? He should have anticipated it anyway, it is normal after tax returns for a year are due to require them. If you don’t have them you will probably be put on 221g - temporary refusal - until it is produced. Bear in mind it can take embassies weeks to respond to documents handed in late, it really will be better to have it before the interview.

If you want the visa, obviously you have to provide what they’re asking for.

Please, i have done this myself, it takes 5 minutes to get it online. What do you mean petitioner does not have SSN? He is a citizen, of course he has one.

I’m taking a wild guess the country is in the username but could be wrong of course

When immigration says they want a document,  they want it

you can attend interview and you should go

but case will say refused (use to say AP but refused now is the norm) while they wait for the IRS transcripts they asked for

and the USC does have a SS #  /we have to have one as a USC   / even babies born in US have one

if you want the visa,  do as asked

The sponsor’s SSN is in the i864 document by the way.

In order to have the immediate IRS transcript it is required to pass the questions that the IRS asks to verify identity such as a mortgage account , car, credit card otherwise they send it by mail and it takes 5-7 days.  In this case, you can bring the original income tax and W2 2020 to the interview.

What do you mean when you say “our lawyer don’t have time to upload or make that IRS tax 2020? Might be a language barrier here, but nobody “makes” a tax transcript. It’s generated when someone submits taxes in the US. Second, it takes only five minutes to download it from the IRS website, so I don’t understand how come either your lawyer, you or the petitioner don’t have time for that. This is YOUR visa, you should be proactive. You need the petitioner’s SS number, and a credit card or mortgage amount. If you don’t have it, take either the W2s or 1099 or whatever form the petitioner used to file taxes. Show them that you tried your best. Yes, if you don’t give them what they asked for (or a substitute) you’ll get a refusal. Also, get rid of that attorney that doesn’t have time to help you with something that they could do while they brew their coffee!
