Federal agents executed search warrants Wednesday at the Manhattan apartment and office of Rudy Giuliani, his attorney said, advancing a criminal investigation by federal prosecutors that has been underway for more than two years.

Giuliani, who served as former President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, has been the focus of an investigation concerning his activities in Ukraine, including whether he conducted illegal lobbying for Ukrainian officials while he pursued an investigation linked to Trump's primary political rival, President Joe Biden, CNN has reported. Giuliani hasn't been charged and has denied wrongdoing.

It is unusual for prosecutors to execute a search warrant on a lawyer, although Manhattan federal prosecutors have done so before, most notably in recent years against another former lawyer for Trump, Michael Cohen.

On Wednesday afternoon, an attorney for Giuliani, Robert Costello, said the warrant described an investigation into possible violation of foreign lobbying laws and that it sought communications between Giuliani and people including a former columnist for The Hill, John Solomon.

Giuliani brought all of this on himself, just like he did with his lies about Dominion.  I hope Dominion hammers him in their civil case.

Why are we talking about Hunter Biden? The investigation of Giuliani began under Trump and the reason why the search warrant wasn't carried out earlier was because of concerns about influencing the election. 

 

Remember the last time a personal attorney of Trump had his home and office searched and electronic devices seized? That did not go well for Michael Cohen.

There are a lot of things Biden has no idea about.

It's no surprise to me that Biden's policy is to allow the Justice Department operate independently.  This is the way it's been for decades, with the exceptions of Trump and Nixon.  

 

What is surprising is that so many people haven't bothered to check to see if Hunter Biden id under federal investigation.

And Obama, let's not forget about BHO's "wingman" heading up the DOJ.  Btw, Hunter Biden has been under investigation for quite some time, when are federal agents going to come knocking on his door at 6am?   Will they give him a warning so he can hide his illegal guns and drugs first?

I am sure Rudy is saying the same thing.  Would you expect someone to be under investigation to come out in public and say they are totally guilty?
