I am so happy for you all. Had no doubts about approval. Hope you can fly out ASAP. So exciting. 🥳🥳

Thank you! We're still waiting to go from Refused to Issued, but we can breathe a little easier now that everything we have to do is over!

Fingers crossed for the formal approval to come this week!

aw bummer.  I've seen many denials.  You can always try again!  It doesn't hurt your case.

what is the covid situation there? Cases down? Is country reopen?

i feel like they are not reopening Africa, Middle East, Asia countries. I’m following Pakistan, where cases are down & the whole country reopened Monday. Yet no sign of embassy

Not opening Mexico either.. so tired of waiting... going on over a year now

But.. what if you already have one? Its no longer valid then?

I know you had the medical but they need the results once they have them then the visa will be issued. Everything must be in their hands in order to issue Visas.

No i didnt have the medical, thats the whole issue. There is a glitch with my emedical in their system, therefore ive been unable to register for a  medical for the last 5 weeks. Ive had my interview though.

Since there is no way in telling when they will fix it, we want to go back to the states. But im wondering if I can. Technically i go on the esta as a tourist. I have no intention on immigrating (aos) on the esta.

I don´t think you can do that on a tourist visa. Because technically you would be entering the US and you already have shown the intention of immigrating - proven by your application for the IR1 visa.

Fortunately i don’t have to think about this anymore. They solved my issue by sending me to the legacy doctor instead. Hopefully it will be all resolved soon! 🤞🏻

Hello friends, once the expedite is approved how long will it take for the case to reach the consulate? I know it may vary but just wanted to have an idea.

It would take a couple of days. Not more than a week i would say.
