Awe I'm so sorry you haven't been able to see each other, it is truly such a hard time for so many!!!

Let us know if/when you hear anything. I'm trying to be on her more often now since hopefully we will be hearing something soon too!

Thank you! We chat every day and face time a few times a week so it helps a lot. Waiting is hard tho, especially now.

Hi everybody! Looks like May filers are not as active communicators as other filers 🤪 Well, I am writing for the first time myself. Our petition was also sent in May (at the very end of the month, actually), we're still waiting, and I am a bit scared and feel empty at times. My fiance had to come to Belgium in August but yeah it had to be canceled. I hope by the end of January we'll hear something and that USCIS will not adjust their processing time. I honestly wish you all a lot of patience and strength.

I think it’s more the fact that we haven’t had much to talk about as we’re all just waiting for NOA2. Hopefully we’re all getting close to having more to report :).

Yea, I expect there will be much more chatter in the coming weeks.  I was wondering how long to expect the wait to be between NOA2 and NVC receiving my folder.  Any ideas?

No idea. Sorry, haha. Maybe someone else here knows.

It takes 30-40 days from NOA2/USCIS to the NVC and then another 5-10 business days before a case number is available. "your mileage may vary"  These are times that many timelines are subject to change.

I just saw our case is approved in the case tracker app

NOA1:  May 5, 2020

NOA2: December 29, 2020

Congratulations! This is sweet news. This extends hope to others for their approval. Join us in the DECEMBER 2020 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY thread and download the PDF file on the first post of the first page for tips, tricks and hacks to follow your case to the embassy. I'll post both links below:

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Hey everyone, also a May K1 filer here. I had previously petitioned, but petition was sent back and expired. We had to refile K1 due to pandemic and not being able to get married in March and giving it another shot. Anyway, long story short... glad to see them getting the ball rolling with the may K1s!

Happy New Year to everyone. I'm excited to share that our K1 case was also approved!

Case sent: May 1st,

Case received: May 4th,

NOA1: May 7th,

NOA2: December 31st.

FYI It seems like it takes some time to sync the data on the web site. I literally checked the case status an hour ago and it was still "Received" and now it says that it was approved at December 31st.

They started to work on May filers so a little more time and y'all will be approved. It's my wish 🙏

So was the uscis website updated on January 1? As opposed to yesterday.
