Greetings everyone,

Pushing good luck towards you guys in all your endeavors. My fiance and I are still in the processing time waiting on our NOA2, currently 228 days. April seems to be moving quickly as we have seen many approvals this week and last week. There is no telling when May will begin this phase, but it is exciting to see April enter the process nonetheless. We are thrilled that movement on our case could be any day now. Best wishes everyone and thank you for the support!

I saw a May approval here on VJ. They are going through April cases fast! March and Feburary noticeably took longer, by a lot. I think it's related to a small number of petitions due to the global lockdown which had started by April.

This news almost made me cry! I am so happy to see May approvals come through. I wonder how long it will take to get an interview though.

I also saw this. Super exciting for all of us! Hopefully we get approvals soon.

You are among the lucky ones! Canada was one of the first to resume K1 interviews and has issued 86 in November which is no.1 in the world! While China is still under the travel ban BS and sees NO progress

I am so sorry to hear that! I really hope when Biden comes into office things will change for the better immigration wise.

Biden is not the President elect, no matter what the left-wing media states, as this will not happen till January 6 when the President will be announced. It's in the constitution how the election works. Pssst. Biden has already made it clear that he is going to let anyone into the country, so you think the lines are going to be shorter? Just keeping it real.

Where is everyone seeing this? I've tried to look at immigration timelines and I haven't seen any.

Yep. They are starting to work on May cases. Any chance you can complete your timeline and profile so we know what country you are going to interview in. Doing this little exercise will help you with helping us to give factual information when we answer your questions.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Hi everybody! Looks like May filers are not as active communicators as other filers 🤪 Well, I am writing for the first time myself. Our petition was also sent in May (at the very end of the month, actually), we're still waiting, and I am a bit scared and feel empty at times. My fiance had to come to Belgium in August but yeah it had to be canceled. I hope by the end of January we'll hear something and that USCIS will not adjust their processing time. I honestly wish you all a lot of patience and strength.

Let us know if/when you hear anything. I'm trying to be on her more often now since hopefully we will be hearing something soon too!

May 19th filer here! It's a little confusing because even though May petitions are being approved, the processing time on the USCIS website is 7.5-9 months for some service centers. So I don't know what to believe.

If it were me, I would believe what the USCIS website is telling you what your situation is, and I wouldn't worry about others. Each case is different and each embassy can be different.
