Still waiting for the approval after replying the RFE, I must be one of very few left. This has made me miss out on multiple chances of joining a lawsuit but now the NIE update and K1 will be back on track... no complaints (maybe a little haha)

Whats going on  and what’s nie?

This probably doesnt affect Columbia though, it was never under the travel ban (PP9984), changes about that only affects countries under the ban.

Wow, I think I was one of the last ones for the May filers, but I finally got my case approved NOA 2 after 127 days of waiting 😭. Case was approved after 417 days of filing and it made my morning. Now to wait for the interview to be scheduled. This process has been torture, but it will be we’ll worth it…

Greetings Everyone,

Hope all is well and everything is still in proper order. My fiance and I are still awaiting our interview date, currently 515 days. To clear she will interview in Abu Dhabi on October 17th, 2021 and hopefully we will receive approval. I'm not sure who is left from the original May group, but I wanted to reach out and encourage anyone remaining to keep the dream alive. Thanks for the support and good luck out there.

When dealing with the NVC I called the 1-603-334-0888 number and spoke to the representative five times for further information. Be sure to press one to speak with a representative when prompted by the recording. The other 1-603-334-0700 automated message will definitely hang up on you at the end. The NVC representative told me specifics about the backlog of visa cases at my Embassy. Contacting them weekly may help move your case forward, but that's no guarantee. I'm not sure what's holding up your case, but I recommend calling them routinely until you see movement.

You should continue emailing the US Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan at ConsularTashkent@state.gov. or TashkentIV@state.gov if you haven't already, for help on your case. Their Embassy website is showing normal operation under their covid-19 information page shown on this link https://uz.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/  however, you may get mixed answers from them. I am suggesting all of this because that's what I did and I was held up at the NVC for five weeks. When our case made it to the US Embassy in Kuwait we transferred it due to the pandemic. From the time we requested the case transfer until the US Embassy Abu Dhabi made our case "Ready" on their end it was 70 more days. I do wish you the best of luck and if you have any questions just reply back.
