Questions for you guys , i have a pending n-400 which i filled late January of this year in St. Paul based on 3 year of marriage to an American citizen. MY wife found a lucrative job overseas in Europe that is due to start in September of this year  . So we made the decision to explore this option for The next 2 years. My question is how  will this implicate my pending N-400 application and My current green card ? I am getting worried about losing it all . Would it be Ok to have my interview and oath while abroad ? OR at least the oath If the interview takes place beforehand we leave

any help or advice is really appreciated

Interview etc abroad? Not possible.

Can you qualify for expedited naturalization?

Or just abandon N-400 and apply for re-entry permit.

You might get it all wrapped up before September.  Or soon after.  It seems like it might be worth it to wait here in the States while your wife moves, just for a few months.  Then you can put immigration all behind you!

On J visas.  Spouse won DV lottery while in US.  Did AOS from the US.

Boston field office, GC holder for 10 years.

Citizenship received in 2016, took ~5 months from application to passport.

Spouse received citizenship in 2019

They may deny for lack of marital union if wife is abroad.
If the applicant ceases to reside with his or her U.S. citizen spouse between the time of filing and the time at which the applicant takes the Oath of Allegiance, the officer should consider whether the applicant met the living in marital union requirement at the time of filing.” https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-g-chapter-2

Could be overcome, could be a problem. Best case oath before leaving. Worst case get a re-entry permit and postpone it all.

If he's using the three year rule, he'll need evidence of living together currently.

Congratulations to the wife on the opportunity. No need to panic. I think you should proceed as normal with everything. Firstly you have already applied so that application fee is gone. Secondly September is a good six months away and you could possibly be naturalized before then making all this moot.

Wait it out until around June, if there is no movement then in July thereabouts you apply for a reentry permit. You could also start looking for a position with an organization meeting the criteria of  Qualifying Employment Abroad, you might get lucky who knows.

Good luck!
