 That was me!

I guess my first question would be if you are IR1/CR1  or IR2/CR2 like my case is?

I encourage you to fill out your timeline! The collective data is helpful to all!

Thank you for your answer. Yes,  we have also CR1 abd CR2(me and kids). My husband is US citizen.I'm just really started to worry, because your case it's looks similar to our, and your DQ was on January 6( my was on December 11 and my daughter on December 20) and we still are waiting for the IL. Could be something wrong? Maybe they forget about us? I guess just like everyone here I'm really tired to wait)

Hi guys!

Just wanted to let everyone know here that I was able to successful get an early interview date! Once again thank you to @dwheels76 and @TeaCup for that awesome information!

So we are DQ as of Dec 17th, IL was received on Jan 13 for a Feb 12 ID...

But the embassy granted us a Jan 29 interview instead!!

That shaved 2 weeks off the timeline!

We requested the earlier interview date as soon as we had the sealed medical envelope in our hands.

I can't say that this would work for everyone, but it worked in our case (IR-1)

Good luck all!

Actually it really doesn't matter when you pay. It doesn't get activated until you enter the US.

The sooner the social security card and Greencard get here the sooner he can work. He hates to sit still or relax 😂 But he’s not coming home till April anyways, so I’m sure it’ll arrive long before he does.

He can pay for the green card after getting the VISA and before he enters.    He can also pay after entering.  The sooner it is paid the sooner the green card comes.

Hi,

Just saw my name and profile listed under "Upcoming Interviews" and I starting thinking about when I first saw this forum and how I wanted to be on that list. Soon my name and profile will be listed under "Recent Visa Approvals." In the moment, it feels like this process took FOREVER but now when I looks back it was faster than I anticipated.

But you guys helped keep me focus and busy at the same time. :energy:

I can relate to that feeling too..... 😀
