I don’t think they were going to reopen in April at all, the quarantine is extended till May 3rd country wide: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices

I checked on the USCIS west palm beach website and it sais USCIS will reopen on April 7th

Yes the original was "closed until at least april 7th"

 

Meaning there was the possibilty of it being extended... Of which was obvious.  Ill expect it to extend past May 3rd also.Brightside, when the whole covid19 passes, you will clearly be on of the first in line to get scheduled

Hi

 

Im actually a November filer, but thought this group might have the answers. 
 

I had my green card interview March 17. In the interview they informed me that they lost my medical exam results (smh) and he is going to approve me but can’t until he gets the results. A few ours after the interview my status on the app changed to interview completed, case must be reviewed 


So I went the next day (during this virus crisis) and got a new exam done... I picked up the results last Thursday the 26 and mailed it priority with tracking same day. During this virus crisis sigh...

 

here are my questions 

1. what is the status change usually after interview complete? How long did it take to get your green card? Is their approval notice once they do approve it etc? 
 

2. anyone who had to redo their medical how long did it take to process everything?

For those of you that  have had their interview cancelled due to the virus situation all is not lost USCIS can waive your interview for AOS.


4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

I really hope that’s the case! I’m currently ready to be scheduled so if so, I’m hoping my case is solid enough for that exemption.

Send a link for verification?  Last i knew, Marriage based AOS always requires an interview since like 2016.

There is no link,  but my case was approved  without interview as was a few other people! Is that verification enough for you? There  is something in the USCIS policy manual stating interviews  can be waived, but you'll  have to look. I'm  just basing on my case and a few others. But it can be done!!!!
