Embassy Review : SAULT STE MARIE, ONTARIO/MICHIGAN. Crossed over with my financé, no wait time to approach initial inspection, sent to secondary for document review, I-94 record. Was there for maybe 30-45 minutes, and didn’t search my car. Super friendly and welcoming! Amazing experience!

Still waiting for my p3 😕

Quick question, when you sent in packet 3 to the email did you only have to send a copy of the check list (checked and signed), or did you have to send the actual documents that are on the checklist as well.
Damonlee on 2019-05-15 said:
Hi Stephanie B! No, you only need to send back the signed P3 form and your DS-160 form which has the barcode on it. The signed form is more of a promise to bring everything to your interview.
blank avatar StephanieB on 2019-05-15 said:
Ok perfect, just wanting to prepare myself and ask all questions in advance. Thanks so much! For the P3 that you sent in, was it dated from 2016 or is there a newer version than what I can find online? Sorry for the questions!
blank avatar StephanieB on 2019-05-15 said:
Sorry, by P3 I mean the date on the checklist.
Damonlee on 2019-05-15 said:
The only current version is the 2016 one available on the department of state website :)
blank avatar StephanieB on 2019-05-15 said:
Ok, thank you for answering all of my questions. Very helpful. Good luck at your interview!! :)
Damonlee on 2019-05-15 said:

Samfar 92 on 2019-07-24 said:
Thanks, well very excited 😊😊😊😊👫👫 just be prepared, they only asked a few questions from my fiance about our relationship...
blank avatar StephanieB on 2019-07-24 said:
Ok will do for sure. So happy for you two, congrats again!!
blank avatar StephanieB on 2019-07-24 said:
Sorry just one more question, for the affidavit, did they only require your 2018 tax return? Or did they ask for more than that. Thanks!!
Samfar 92 on 2019-07-24 said:
No problem you can ask as many as questions you want, I sent them my 2018 tax return and tax transcript, tax transcript is must. So please if you dont have your 2018 tax transcript, you can request one from IRS, it take at least 10 business days to be mail to you.
blank avatar StephanieB on 2019-07-24 said:
Oh no seriously?! We didn't see anything about a tax transcript in the requirements! We literally have everything else. Did they ask for the tax transcript specifically??
blank avatar StephanieB on 2019-07-24 said:
I seen that the tax transcript is required for i-864 for the adjustment of status affidavit but not for the i-134. now i'm scared! My interview is August 7th!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
