It’s likely you’ll get an automated, “you’re out of processing inquiry date” response.. you’re looking at at least 12 mths for Nebraska 

AOS Journey

  • I-485 etc filed 23 April 2020 
  • NOA1 I-485 June 3 2020 
  • NOA1 EAD 23 April 2020
  • Biometrics 5 Jan 2021
  • EAD approved 12 March 2021
  • Interview Completed 24 March 2021
  • EAD Card Received 1 April 2021  
  • Case under review 2 April 2021
  • New Card is Being Produced 25 September 2021
  • 10 Year Green Card Approved and Mailed 27 September 2021 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Our CR1 Journey:

 

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

 

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

 

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

 

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

I don't think the VJ community has seen any i-130 IOE receipt holders "helped" by the 129f...

I wrote a review immediately after interview.

You can check my timeline.

As for documents, just my birth certificate, police certificate, marriage certificate, passport and evidence of a bona fide marriage.

That's all.

I 130 PD December 10, 2018

I 129F PD July 8, 2019

September 9 - Expedite request of I130 via mail (Status of the expedite request: Transferred for review by an officer)

October 5 - Expedite request of I129 by phone

October 7 - Expedite request of I129F denied (no one asked for any evidence. Just denied)

November 5 - Contacted congressman asking for assistance since I130 expedite request was taking way too long. Congressman contacted Nebraska Service Center. 

November 8 - Status of both I130 and I129F changed back to "Transferred for review by an officer" and the countdown started from 0 (as if they just received our evidence)

November 21 - no changes to the case(s)

NOA1 for I130 - Dec 10th, 2018

Filed for K3 July 8, 2019.

Expedited I130 September 8, 2019 still pending review

Expedited I129F September 28, 2019.

I129F expedite request was denied on October 1st, 2018. No change since. Still pending approval/denial
