This is probably a weird question but this is on behalf of my friend who is asking me and I told her I will try to ask the very helpful people here in visa journey.

So the question is, is it possible to block a person with a tourist visa from entering the US for the 3rd time.  The person she wanted to block is someone who causes them emotional problem every time she visits US.  She claims that this person is destroying her family and causes so much drama between the family members.  Yes, it's a personal and family problem. Please let me know and will gladly share your advise to her.  Thank you.

If the rest of the family agrees that that person is a nuisance then don’t invite him/her into your homes. It’s that simple. Block him/her in all of your social media. Don’t let one person cause that much stress on all of you. If he/she shows up uninvited to your home, call the police (?).  Unfortunately, you cannot have his tourist visa revoked, unless he/she commits a serious crime while on US soil but again that’s the decision of the authorities.

No she can not block someones VISA.   If she is being harrassed she needs to contact law enforcement.  She may be able to get a no contact or restraining order.  If that is violated then the offender could be charged with a crime and then the visa might be in jeopardy.

Thank you for your response.  I will forward your message to her.

Nope. Entry of a visitor has nothing to do with a US resident. As others stated, if the circumstances necessitate/merit law enforcement, then that is the avenue to take.

She can't block someone from entering the country with a tourist visa.

What she can do, is block someone from further affecting her life by not seeing her when she's in the US, blocking her on any social media accounts/telephone calls/emails/etc.

When it comes to family drama (we all have it in one way or another), we can't control another person's actions---but we can control how we react to those actions.  Easier said than done sometimes, of course, but if your friend doesn't like a person she can simply just stay away from her whenever she's here visiting.

Agree with others. This is not an immigration issue and this person cannot block another from using their valid visa. If there is harassment, the law should be notified and an contact with this person should be avoided.

nothing you can do. not liking someone does not matter.

if they harass you or cause issues while they are here, contact law enforcement to get a protective order against them. you would have to be able to PROVE the harassment.

THAT may affect their tourist visa, but again you have to be able to PROVE it. not just say 'this happened'.
