I have to admit that I wasn't the best at Father's Day this year, but the Dane doesn't exactly put a lot of effort into Mother's Day.

He got cards from me and the kids, a small gift, the ordering of a new grill, and that was about it. My lunch must have been off because I was too sick to cook any sort of dinner.

It is the perfect amount of devious, because obviously you are doing to spend more time together with her, right?

So holidays in Daneland work like this: you ask person what they would like and they present you with a general idea or a very specific list with links.

Then, if you aren't being a jerk, you buy what they've requested in the price point you are comfortable with.

So personal, so spontaneous, so necessary

Two weeks after my recent birthday, La Colombiana got me a shirt and a pair of XL running shorts that don't fit. In her mind she sees me as an XL despite knowing that I run 9 miles every weekend. No card, no cake, not the day of nor 2 weeks later.

Then again, I always tell her not to make a big deal of my birthday, so she's just following my wishes in a haphazard sort of way.

I come home, it's like a zoo.

4 people trying to talk to me at the same time.

Tiff is retarded. How does she expect me to carry on that many conversations at the same time.

It's enough to give me heartburn...

I hope this helps.

Do you have a BG monitor? I think pets use the same ones as people and you can attempt to do BG checks at home.

Make sure you vary the location where you do the shot.

BTW, I would let mrs tb know that if cat happens to pass away because she wasn't helping, it's very painful and scary for kitty.  She will see her husband go aysheep like she's never witnessed before I guarantee you.

TBH, if hubs were that irresponsible to our pet, I'd divorce him.  IMO if you can't look after a pet, even needy ones, you can't look after a child or me either, and I don't trust you in my life.  I'm the one that has always taken them to the vet, gotten their food, organized their food and med programs... He at least can go along with the program.

The Frenchie got a new grill too. Well, I say "new" because it's new to him. The neighbors across the street moved and put their gas grill, minus one wheel, at the curb free for the pickins. After 24 hrs it was still there so we wandered over to take a look, turns out it's a Weber. I said okay we can clean it up and get replacement parts if needed. I spent 3 hours on Sat. with the de-greaser, hot water, Dawn dish soap, a rag and scrub brush, and the garden hose set to full blast working it over. Then I went online to Weber and ordered a new gas hose and regulator and new insides. Frenchie is happy and Many $$$ economized.
