'Tis true. I read a recent piece that most doctors would choose not to be resuscitated with CPR as well. Even if it is successful, you can lose a lot of functionality.

And actually no, Nola-B. ma'am -- no way to determine whether glucose improvement is consequent to diet, injections, or either-or, no ma'am.

Call from the attorney handling our 1151 against the VA Hospital in LR. Had this blessed claim since 2015. Suddenly decided they need a bunch of other info, in order to properly rate him. Stuff they have, stuff I can't see the least need for requesting. More foot dragging, and I need to go to LR, and Fayettevile to collect it.

Tbone i know youre fond of the word many but please state plainly which size of needle and how many units are you giving?

There are a couple of threads that I post in that only intermittently show up in my content on VJ. They might show up for a day after I reply again, but then disappear until the next time. So weird.

Oh, we can't believe this ####-up, no and grrrRRRRRRRRR man.

When the vet called our preferred pharmacy, she called us back, she call back we man.

She said, "The pharmacy has 2 forms -- a vial, and an epi-pen, si man," si man.

"You can discuss with them which one you want, si man," si man.

Vet (and, previously, vet tech) emphasized "U-Many, U-Many, U-Many" (U-40) syringes, emphasis man.

 

We go to pharmacy.  Vial containing Many doses cost $Many00; pen cost nearly $Many00, difference man.

We opted for pen, also easier to deal with man.

Pharmacist had no U-Many syringes, no man.  She didn't know where to get them, up to our search man.

 

We visited Many (2+2+2) places this morning, and none had or had even heard of U-Many syringes, no man.

We finally found an independent place that had them, snap up a box we man.

We can actually see the units on this syringe and shot up cat with one unit, relief man.

 

We get home and see that the epi-pen is not U-Many (U-40), but U-Many00 (U-100),   and 🤯 man!!!

Did no one think to tell us that there might be a crucial difference, huh man?

We've just spent a week's worth of completely wrong insulin therapy, maltreated miu man!

 

If we can use the new syringes to shoot up cat, someone please tell us the amount to administer, calculate man.

We now can't return new box of syringes, and we're sick of buying them, fed up man.

(make sure to get right size, .3, .5 or 1cc).  The smaller the cc the easier it is to see the liquid depending on units needed. 

 

You need these.  

 

Pull back needle plunger until desired amout of liquid is air inside needle, Insert needle into bottle, turn upside down, pull most of needle out so only tip is inside bottle, push plunger, allow needle to withdraw liquid equal to amount of air that was.  If you need more pull plunger back.  Withdraw needle.  Make sure liquid is all the way to tip and no air is in there.  

Feed kitty. Let kitty eat. Inject kitty.  Cry. Pet.
