Green Card in hand! 🎉 I wasn't approved on spot, but basically same day status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced", however I found it out only next day. I hope you all will have interviews

We had out interview yesterday. The officer was a really nice man, however it was difficult to see what he thinks about our case. He asked a few questions like how we met, what did we do prior meeting

My local field office is notoriously slow (Montgomery, AL) because it's only been open a few years or so and they get backlog from Atlanta so...I'd be glad to have my case passed off to another office! Haha

 

In other news, the tracking from USPS updated this morning! :)

I had a good feeling yours was updated late! So happy for you. They seem to update late whenever I get packages from stores delivered via USPS.

Hi, it can take up to around 4 weeks (quicker in most cases though). Don't panic yet, hopefully they cash it in the next few days.

Good idea to file for the "Full Meal Deal" for two, i.e., AOS/EAD/AP for K1 and K2. We did the same thing. For my stepson (18 yo at the time), the EAD enabled him to get his SSN and a State ID card..... every little piece of the puzzle helps. Never used the AP, however, my wife's mother's health was failing, it was comforting to know that she could visit her mother and not have any immigration issues with travel to home.

Mine was delivered on June 10th. We got our NOA 1 a week later, in the mail. There was no email notification. The receipt date was June 10. You should get yours soon.
