I'm seeing a bunch of people all around us have gotten their noa2 already  and even people two weeks after ours.

This, to me, is a good sign that something will happen for you soon.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

As far as I can tell, the country of the beneficiary has little or no influence on the process at the petition stage (there's very weak evidence that high-fraud and high security risk countries are marginally slower), though it's hard to show. The Philippines is such a large percentage of cases that they almost have to on average move pretty close to the average speed (at least just going by VJ timelines, other countries tend to get drowned in small sample size effects where one or two really fast or slow cases skews the average a lot;  the UK, which has a pretty high number of filers every month compared to most non-PI countries, has months where they're faster than average and months where they're slower -- and that's a country you'd think would always be faster than average, because it's very low-fraud, English-speaking, and has relatively good relations with the US).

So why do lots of people think cases from there move faster? It's because there are so many more cases that there are more outliers on the fast side, and you're seeing them now. But a lot of the 'normal-speed' approvals (January filers now) have Filipino beneficiaries too, and so do a lot of the 'slow' ones (Dec 2018 and earlier).

Philippines in general tend to move much faster.  When I filed 3 years ago for a K1. People from California service center was getting NOA2 in around  7 to 10 days, I was at another service center, seemed like it took me almost 30 days to get NOA2.

We were moving much faster than other applicants

OK Thanks i just got back from visiting her we were so hopeful looking at the time lines that we would get ours while I was there. Just some wishful thinking I guess.

It happens usually  every time that you set your expectations to high that it never comes when you WANT it too. It only comes when you least expect it, but it WILL come.

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

We got our NOA2 less than a month ago and we filed right at the start of December - processing times seem to have really sped up, but honestly, I wouldn’t feel worried that you’ve not had yours yet, just feel glad that they’re starting to do February filers now 🙃

You all are not alone :) I'm here full of anxiety! Happy for those who filed with me in the best mouth (February) also extremely erratic for those who received a NOA2. I am terrified of an RFE. What I am worried about is i didn't submit pictures of my stamps in my passport however we submitted our cruise itinerary, pictures from the cruise, engagement pictures, other vacations and various events with friends and family. He submitted his work schedule showing proof of coming to my country along with pictures from the many visits. We sent in basically everything!! with the exception of passport stamps :( We both work for the same airline so i'm thinking they'll understand hopefully :(. I just want to be together, live under one roof, grow old, laugh and look back on times like these.

Good luck to all of you!

Try not to stress to much

Same here. My NOA1 was Feb 19th. I'm anxiously awaiting praying for a straight approval and no RFE. As I'm anxiously waiting I'm reading a lot of post on this site (which I should have done before I sent my application) lol Cause now I'm just going through everything that I did wrong or didn't do that could possibly result in a RFE. The wait is agonizing not because I'm not patient but because of all the what ifs. I'm so lucky my fiancé (the beneficiary) is so encouraging, positive and supportive. He helps calm my nerves and reassures me everything will be fine not to worry.
