Hi! We just submitted my husband's DS-260 and are starting to upload the documents. The list includes a police certificate for a country where he spent about 8 weeks. Should we just say "Not applicable"? I'm surprised to see it on the upload list. Thanks in advance for your help!

Also, will NVC review my (already submitted) tax documents in the meantime or do they review all the documents at once?

Not applicable and write a note he only stayed for 8weeks

you guys! After the holiday, this is the day they are at. What happened to resubmitted docs from May 3- May 27? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you for the quick reply! I appreciate the help. Fingers crossed we can get through this stage with no RFEs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the DS260 only asks for addresses the beneficiary has lived for 6 months or more. Did you add this 8-week stay into the list of addresses? If you have then it automatically generates the police clearance request on the upload page.

As for the second portion, I'm on the same boat. Would love some input.

It’s not worth to pay attention to those dates they post online. It’s not reliable and not really true as some peoples cases get review within a week, or 2 weeks or longer.....

If after 3 weeks you don’t hear anything just call the NVC to get it escalate it to a supervisor. I did that on my last resubmission and got CC a couple of days later.

I am very aware of that. But this time, they skipped almost a month! Their date is more advanced than the review they are doing unlike the previous dates.

Yeah that’s another reason not to follow those dates posted. To be honest I don’t understand how does the NVC functions 🤷🏽‍♂️

The DS-260 requires EVERY address since the age of 16.  It is a PITA...

NVC reviews all files at once.  DO NOT SUBMIT until you have all the files uploaded.  Submit everything together or it can cause serious delays.  Each time you submit files  it is 3 weeks before they review it.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

No. That sounds more like a vacation and not living there.

I sent separate emails for each petition and I received email responses for each one.

Thank you for clearing that up. Looks like my three week wait started on the 25th May. The AOS docs were uploaded on the 16th. Had to wait for a bloody police clearance that took it's time.

Exactly what happened to us. We were waiting on Korea. I made the mistake of adding my transcript when it was available after my AOS was already accepted. It added 3 weeks because if you upload it they have to review it.

None of my documents have been accepted yet. AOS docs submitted on the 16th still showing 'submitted'.
