I think someone may have asked this before, but "Photographs" for Civil Documents. Is that passport style photos? If so, how many? Or pictures of us?

Thank you for all the help and support! I love reading everyone's posts and hearing about your progress.

On May 22nd, I sent an email for expedite request. May 24th, i got an email saying "Your request for the expeditious processing of this immigrant visa petition is currently under review.  You will be informed of the results when the review is completed."

I called NVC today and the representative said that they have submitted the request to the US Embassy in Manila.

Anyone knows how long does it take for them to approve or deny an expedite request?

Hey everyone :)

I wanted to ask you if this is normal to wait longer than 6 weeks to get approved I-130 (4/5/2019)  to be received in at NVC? It's going to be 8 weeks on Friday already since the petition has been approved in USCIS and still there is no hearing from NVC. I hope they didn't lose my papers..

I call both, USCIS (to make sure papers were sent out physically) and NVC (if they received it already) but it's hard to get any update. NVC instructed me to contact nvcresearch@state.gov, even senator's office helps me but no respond so far. This waiting time is impossible.. Any good word appreciated.

I think if you email them a scanned copy of your 797 approval they can locate the petition for you. Dont hurt, you should email them.

8 weeks is kinda long.
