Uscis will send your case to the nvc in 7-10 days. Your case status will change to “sent to state department.” Then you’ll get a case number from the Nvc. You can call them to see when they received your case.

You can but I don't think they will have any new info for you aside from your case being approved.

It took my petition from approve to sent to NVC 15 days. I know your anxious but You will just be set for disappointment if you call, believe me i was.

It took another 11 days for my case to be received to NVC but they no longer send notice confirmation since according to the customer rep its a waste of their resources. I only found out when they received my case when i called last week. Currently they are processing case received August 23. I suggest to call NVC 11 days or so after your USCIS status changes to sent to NVC. It took me 3 calls and 1hr or so waiting to talk to a customer rep. Good luck!

Just to add:
Ask them when you case was received so you have a actual date to work with. Website: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/after-petition-approved/begin-nat-visa-center.html. If you scroll to the middle of the page you will see a bluish table and it will state what date they are currently working on. Keep in mind this website only gets updated every Monday afternoon.

Were these 15 working days? And does everyone’s status change to let you know when it’s sent to nvc or you just have to call if 30 days pass and your hear nothing as stated in the approval letter?

The 15 days is calendar days. Im using this as this is what USCIS follows. If you did the e-notification form when you submitted your i130 it should update. I called since I’m have been lurking on the timeline and noticed people cases that was later or about the same time as mine has their received date.

It's a waste of time to call now. Our NOA2 was August 23rd, and NVC didn't receive our case until September 13th. That's a whole lot of days I could have called (in general, I've sat on hold for about 1 hour and 15 minutes each time) and heard that they had no record of my case. Give it at least a week after you get the notification that your case was sent to the department of state.

My husband (Us citizen) applied for I-130 in April, 2018 with the Texas Service Center.Only received notice case received. (04/16/2018) I am in removal proceedings and the IJ is waiting for the I-130 to be approved in order to end the removal proceedings. It has been 19 months since we filed. We filed numerous case inquiries with USCIS and also requested help from congressman, and nothing!

I sent my I-130 for my wife on March 5, 2020 at the Lewisville Texas Service Center. I checked my FedEx tracking number and said they received it on March 9, 2020 and I still haven't received any email or NOA1 after 30 days. Does anyone know what should I do or call them from? I'm overseas in the Philippines.
