My status finally was updated to “new card is being produced”. I filed on March 3,2019!

Got a text message this morning that there was a case update .. status changed to "Card is Being Produced"   Our case was at LIN (Nebraska).   -David

I just checked the status and guess what, approved!! I filed on March 29 and my service center was LIN. Approved with no interview or RFE.

You can check your case status on the USCIS website: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Thank you!!! I just checked, latest update is that fingerprints were applied for my case, as of September 24th...the wait continues!

I filed N-400 just a few days ago and my I-751 status just got an e-notification stating my case is being transferred. To where? No idea yet. 

03-19-2021: Officially an American Citizen 🇺🇸 Entire journey from initial K-1 Visa filing to Naturalization took 5 years, 8 days.

Congrats David. Now do we wait until receive green card on hand in order to apply for citizenship? My window is opened on Jan 24. BTW just check the app and it said "Card was mailed to me"

I guess your question is moot (congratulations) .. but here's what I've heard ...

 

I don't believe you have to wait to apply for citizenship once you meet the requirements. I know some people that were a year or two ahead of us and they applied and got their citizenship before their 10 year green card was approved.

2/18/2016- Letter from NVC saying they're forwarding to Guangzhou

3/4/2016- Received P3, returned it about a week later

3/22/2016- P4 email

5/12/16- Interview. Approved!

5/16/16- After a few days saying administrative processing, CEAC now says issued!

Additional snafu: my fiancé came over on his visa, but just a month later (and the day before we were going to get married) he had an emergency that necessitated him returning to China.  I contacted the Guangzhou consulate via their email system, provided the requested documents/proof, and he was granted a second interview for "reissuance."  He had to re-do the medical, redo the interview (bringing yet another copy of all of the things he had to bring the first time) and we were approved again!  He received what looked like a new visa in his passport, but the original 90 day countdown for marriage was still ticking.  He came back to the US and we got married right away!

8/22/16- Married!

4/11/17- submitted online service request for case out of normal processing time (over 6 months)

5/2/17- USCIS website updated to "My card is being produced!"

5/10/17- Green Card received

New card is being produced! Got the text message update and checked the case status right away. We also have a LIN case number and it seems a lot of us who filed at that service center are being approved one after another! Congrats all!

 

Even without anything really to be worried about regarding our case, I can't believe how much stress has been lifted by this approval.

Anyone else seeing the same thing? I've seen people here saying its moved from Vermont to Potomac? does this mean our process is near completion?

I have the exact thing. I filed in March, 2019, and did a change of address back in May. (I moved to CA). Due to the move, I had to reschedule my biometrics appointment twice. I did my biometrics in June, and I just got those notifications on 02/06/2020. I'm wondering where my case would transfer to.
