Bernie Sanders Joins the 2020 Presidential Race

   Bernie Sanders would be 80 years old by the inaugural. Reminds me of Ron Paul, in that they seemed to always have a lot of hard core supporters, but never enough to get over the hump.  I think his time has come and gone.

Agree. If we have minimum age limits for who is eligible to run for president seems like it might be time to add a maximum age limit as well. Yes, we live in an age of advancing medical technology but it would be more realistic nevertheless.

I lost a lot of respect for the guy after he got cheated by Democrats during the primaries, He got screwed over and came back to support Hillary. 

 

If he would of put his foot down and got angry about it, I would of respected him. 

 

It was like the time when two BLM female supporters got on stage and took his microphone from him while he was giving a rally speech,  He is gutless

Indeed. It seems bizarre that he even dares to run given all of that recent history. Not to be cynical but maybe he's trying to cash in on his popularity. He knows he isn't going to be nominated so what is the point? Maybe he's doing it just to spite the other Democrats, who knows. Politics maketh little sense these days.

   I don't know if we need a legal maximum age limit, but I think there is a potential psychological barrier where we start to wonder about someone's health and decision making for the next 4 years. If someone was 80 and looked physically fit and sounded pretty sharp when they talk, I guess I wouldn't otherwise be deterred from voting for them.

I think his time has come and gone, He was bringing in big crowds, I just don't see the enthusiasm for him this time, He was a flash in the pan.

I was going through the Sanders Megathread on Reddit and alot of people were echoing this comment as well. How they were all hot on him in 2016 but has since cooled to him due to a number of different reasons. 

 

Also what I found pretty funny is that people were still actually debating and trying to convince people that the DNC primary was NOT rigged against Bernie. But another thing people were wondering was that how well his shtick was going to play this go round when pretty much all of the DNC are touting his policies.
