If our case makes it to the shipment tomorrow should we expect to see "In Transit" by tomorrow instead of "At NVC"? Or does it usually take a few days for that to be updated on the ceac website?

but when I checked on my vacation days they gave me the finger 😒

LOL !!!!!!!   Love your sense of humor.......crack me up.   But sorry to hear they rejected vacay.   My mantra was always "don't screw with my pay or vacation"............so they violated a cardinal rule.   The upside...........you're almost to the finish line.

I wonder what the percentages are for people travelling to US with their fiance/fiancee, and people travelling to US solo.   Guess it's not too weird for people in countries with visa waiver program who have been here before.

I was told that she does NOT want me to come get her and that I just need to get her a ticket to come here to save money. She is pretty adamant about it.

RoC sent 10/30/21

NOA 11/16/21

I would guess that a large percentage will travel by themselves. I for one traveled twice to PI and the last being to be with her at the interview. I knew that it would take time for her to settle her affairs there while waiting for the visa that it wasn't a big deal for me to go back home. She did great traveling. Made it through LAX and then the red eye to NC.

Sorry to butt in but because of the cost to travel halfway around the world I think Prizm she is being pragmatic and I am sure in some way you'll express that to her.

I'm the benficiary and I plan to travel solo.  I think my fiance coming with me to the interview or POE would just make me nervous and self-conscious!!!  I'm Canadian though and I do travel to the US alone quite frequently.

We should see "in transit" change for people throughout the day tomorrow.  For the Feb 5 shipment, peoples' status changed at various points thoughout the day, so if you don't see it in the morning, don't lose hope.  (Please remind me I said that)

Today being a holiday I do wonder if those of us that received a case number toward the end of last week have less of a chance of making this shipment.  Ughhhh.

haha no worries! I didn't even apply for them. The moment I saw I have 3 days left of vacation I was like Nope. Not gonna happen. lol It takes 2 days alone to get there and 1 day to get back and I'm not looking to go over there to sniff air and come back. lol

And I wonder too! Especially those whose couples have hardly or ever been out of their country. My fiance has been to Turkey and Cyprus but its a straight shot from Lebanon. He's never had to do a connecting flight before so he's a bit nervous.

In transit changes for tomorrow and some stragglers on Wednesday. Follow the shipment. I have outlined (first page of this thread) what you can do through DHL. Remember to wait 24 hours until DHL and NVC can sync their websites.

I would think the cut off was last Wednesday for this weeks shipping. But I don't know for sure nor does anyone else. :D

Every American airport have maps on line so you can have him print one off. I think you will know the gate numbers to so you can help navigate the airport map with him.

Yes, he's arriving in Houston and I can pick him up from there but most flights out of Lebanon have a connection at Heathrow and that airport is huge lol so hopefully I can book him one with a connection in Istanbul and that would make it easier for him, I think.
