Event Description

Embassy Review : I was first in line. Doors opened at 730 am
They let one in at a time. You are given a laminated sheet with a number on it. You go through security screening and downstairs to organize your documents according to their list. The security guard then has you go in the elevator upstairs where you wait. I was called to the first desk to hand in my documents on their list and get fingerprinted. I was handed the IMBRA pamplet and told to go and wait till i was called again. About 20 mins later i was called for my interview. I had to take an path get fingerprints of my right hand and then asked a few questions. They were how did you meet? (Facebook group called mastiff lovers), when did you meet in person? What was your longest trip there? Have you ever had trouble crossing the border? What does your fiance do? She then said you are approved and read the pink paper to me, and gave me a canada post tracking sheet as well as another Imbra pamphlet. She was very thorough with those documents.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Rating : Very Good

Hi. Just noticed you’re from Windsor. So am I. Our file is same as yours stating in transit. I emailed NVC to make change if address and they told me they couldn’t do it because file was already sent to Montreal. So I know it has left and like you, wondering why it’s still in transit status.

Its frustrating. There is a few of us still in transit. They were received in montreal and even signed for on the 21st according to DHL courier but nothing more has been done. Im.hoping its just a glitch. Shipments that went march 5th are booking interviews now!. Lets hope we get ready and p3 next week.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
