Hi! I have my interview the day before you (Thursday, eek!)

We're not bringing copies of the I-485/I-864, but for the latter we'll be bringing along more of my husband's pay slips just in case they need that additional evidence (he only started earning enough in June of last year so we could only submit a few pay slips before).

The medical form I-693 is the same; did you get a copy for yourself when you went for your medical in your country? I got a copy from given to me, I'll be taking that along and hoping it's enough.

Evidence we're taking is similar to yours;

-Joint bank statement

-Copy of our lease

-Marriage certificate

-Govt IDs and BCs

-I94 print out

-Print out of health insurance we have through his work (I'm the beneficiary on his life insurance too)

-Our wedding album (and a few loose pictures if they need them for their files)

I'll probably post on Thursday evening how ours went, but with any luck the evidence should be enough. :)

Edit: Hey - could you update your timeline? Thanks! 😁

Yeh! I got my interview letter yesterday and it will be on June 6. I read the list of stuff the we must bring.  I also won’t be bringing a copy of I-485 but I’ll bring a new I-864 because my husband got promoted around March.  So I’m thinking of giving them an updated I-864. On the list it says Original and copy of each supporting documents that you submitted with your application.  So I get bringing the original, so does it mean they want another copy of all the supporting documents I sent to them?

Good luck on on your interview!!

They might want copies just in case they misplaced their own copies. Better to take them in than go without!

Thank you so much! My husband received a copy of his medical records when he went for vaccinations so we will take those.

Also, I just updated our timeline—I'm trying to figure out how I can include it in my post profile?

Do you mean the DS3025 vaccination record that you received from your overseas medical or do you mean you did not complete your vaccines overseas before or at your Panel Physician medical and had to do them in the US and have them transcribed to an I693?

Also, I just updated our timeline—I'm trying to figure out how I can include it in my post profile?

Notes section? Sorry I'm not sure what "it" means so I'm trying to be helpful...

Hey all,

We have our interview coming up next Friday and I had a few questions regarding the required list to bring to the interview:

Do we have to bring in copies of the forms I-485 and I-864? These were already submitted and I feel like it would be such a waste of printing and paper if they already have these documents.

Is the medical form I-693 the same form that is submitted in a sealed envelope when entering the US?

We plan to bring the following:

Documentation showing our joint bank and phone accounts

Evidence of our residence & address

Official marriage certificate

Our government IDs and birth certificates

i-94

Photos of our wedding and honeymoon with airplane tickets

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated! Good luck to all those interviewing soon 😊

Add current utilities like internet, water, electricity, garbage bills that are both in your names.

Right, you will need to submit a photocopy of your DS3025 Vaccination Record that was given to him at his overseas medical exam but separate from the sealed envelope. And then bring your original personal copy of the DS3025 to the interview. You have not mentioned if he has a personal copy of his DS3025 Vaccination Record and some one referred to it as an I693 (which is not the case) which is why I'm confused.

Does he have a DS3025?

Did you submit a photocopy with the I485?

Do you have your personal copy to bring to the interview?

I want to list my timeline so it shows up every time I make a post here and I am not sure how to do this!! I can see many people whose timelines show up below their posts here, which is very helpful.

I've never seen that? You could put it in your signature? Or we can just look at your timeline as it's easily accessible for everyone here but you would have to ensure its correct and up to date.

If you go to account settings you should see a tab that says signature; that's where I put in the important dates of my timeline so it displays whenever I post (you can't see it when accessing from your phone though).
