I live in California and 2 of the letters were sent from my county and the noa2 was from southern california. I checked with a few of my neighbors will try to check with a few more.

I think wait 2 weeks after your status online show approved. If already past 2 week I would just call them and ask about it.

APPROVED! My fiancé woke me up to send me a screenshot of the informed delivery and ask me whether it was a request for evidence or an approval. My hands were shaking so bad when I looked at the photo but then I saw Page 1 of 1 and started to cry!

I completely understand that! Sydney is a pretty good/efficient embassy from what I have seen and experienced so you guys shouldn't have to be apart too much longer.

 

We intentionally delayed ours a bit (could have scheduled our interview as early as November, but waited until January because my fiance was visiting here in the U.S. for Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year's). 

 

Random side note: I have family in Augusta! It's just a 4 hour drive from where I am (unless traffic is a nightmare...thanks Atlanta).

Oh my gosh that’s awesome about having family in Augusta! No one in Australia has ever heard of it unless they like golf! I just say I’m moving to a city ‘near Atlanta’ 😂

 

Also good to know about the Sydney consulate. I’m aiming to move over in July. I’ve very tentatively started to plan a wedding for the end of July. Hopefully should be enough time!
