Individuals permanently barred under 6E are eligible for nonimmigrant waivers. However, they are eligible for immigrant waivers only in limited circumstances — when they tried to smuggle close family members.

What @Roel is referring to is there are some crimes and infractions where there is no waiver. Meaning a person would be permanently barred from being petitioned for in the US.

Smuggling may be one of those infractions.

Agree, no waiver for smuggling, like a false claim to  US Citizenship.

I know there is a waiver for an alien smuggling. But I need examples and ideas of the letter for this type of waiver. It is different than the hardship waiver.

The I-601 waiver apply for alien smuggling, when they tried to smuggle a close family member ( mom, dad, wife, husband, son, daughther) In your application,  you need to show USCIS that you merit a waiver for humanitarian purposes, to ensure family unity or because it is in the public interest.

I would guess that such waivers are rare and example letters of such are even more rare.

Are you asking in an attempt to do it yourself? If so, you might want to reconsider and instead hire an attorney who is very experienced in filing waivers. It's probably well worth the money.

It is not different I believe - you are requesting the waiver because of a hardship to US citizen, not that because you want to live in US or some other reason.  Why otherwise would US let you immigrate ?

The only question is whether the inadmissibility can be even considered for one, human trafficking is a serious charge.

I seriously doubt that a human smuggling waiver is a do-it-yourself case......
