Hi all! my interview was on March 19 in Bogota! but they requested an additional document that we sent immediately and at this moment it says "administrative process". How long can this take? Another question our NOA2 had a due date for March 22, is there any problem should we do something about this date?

Thank u!!! 😘

Your noa2 date was just when you needed to have had your interview by.

administrative processing can take, days, weeks , months or in rare cases years but doesn’t “normally” take more than a few weeks following submission of documents asked for.

No one can say with any certainty when you will receive your visa. Have you asked this question in the sub-forum for your country? Have you used the tool "hidden" behind your flag from your profile, where you will be able to see 12 other VJ'rs from your country who have or are now in the process. It will list enough information that you can make a stab at what the time period will be to answer your question.

NOA2 date is a mute point now that you have had your interview. It can be ignored.

Normally they will extend your petition for 4 more months. Send off an email with all the correct information to locate your record. Keep a copy to bring with you to the interview in the event that it becomes an issue. I doubt it will but I like to be prepared with armor when I go into battle.

Once the visa leaves NVC there is nothing that NVC can or will do. They are just a clearing house, to assign case numbers to and that is all they are tasked with in dealing with visa's.
