I don’t  I think they are going to respond to the email London hasn’t been rather a lot lately. Yes 27 business days. Nice to know that you are still here with me.  I was beginning to think that I’m going to be rhe one to turn the lights out here.

Just got out of the US Consulate. She was approved! She is beyond happy although the consular officer and I were kind of giggling as we watched my Fiance my answer questions lol but answered all the questions right by answering others wrong lmao. it was cute. They could tell she knew everything but she was such a train wreck lol.

We want the passports..... Impatiently waiting...…. The status shows Issued on 02/19 and we are waiting for the email to go collect them in Recife 😩

 

The status can't change, now..... can it??? 😞

Sorry to hear what you're going through. I had my interview yesterday and I'm already worried about getting the actual visa. Have you contacted the embassy or do you have any idea what might be causing the delay?

 

Also, on CEAC, what does it state there - is it "AP" in the "Your visa is currently at:" section?

I emailed them on February 7 and got no reply, my fiancé emailed them Friday and no reply yet. My embassy doesn’t take calls.

on ceac it says administrative processing on the non immigrant tracker. Last case updated date February 13th

no real idea what is causing the delay except maybe my 2 surname changes.

I see. Do you have a screenshot of what part the "non-immigrant tracker" is? Want to make sure I'm looking at the same thing.

go to ceac.state.gov 

first look under immigrant visa -check my visa application status as you’re unlikely to be at non immigrant status yet BUT if that spins and won’t load when you’ve input your details go back and try the non immigrant -check my visa application  status

Ready status still continues and will remain there until such time as your CO begins the final adjudication then you will see it go through these stages first being AP. These are all good signs and nothing to worry about.

 

Just about everyone goes through this process.  Based on the discussions I had with the case officer he informed me of the steps to complete the processing of your visa:

 

the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa

the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance

the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork

the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

 

Then "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.

 

Once you get that second ready, it should be sent out within a few days, although we received our visa before any of the various websites that allow you to look up the status said that it had been sent out.

I was anticipating the ambiguous nature of post-interview waiting, but I got a bit flustered on one of the interview questions that I wasn't expecting around being a very young couple and quick to marry (nearly 3 years doesn't seem quick to me though), so I've become a little more nervous.

The entire interview can be nerve racking. You don't want to make a mistake and set you back. Most of the CO's take that into consideration. The CO's are well trained to uncover fraud and so a question like the she asked you and your response did not set off any alarm bells so she didn't go any further in questioning that topic.

 

I was at my wife's interview but they would not allow me to stand with her. I was asked to take a seat in the lobby. I took a chair and I was in ear shot of an interview window and I listened as this young lady with child was interviewing. There were some questions asked and immediately the CO was zeroing in on something because there were further questions being asked. She eventually uncovered a fraudulent application and denied it and band the women for 10 years.

 

So I think you are find and it will take days to about 2 weeks for it to be issued. Good luck and safe flights.
