Maybe we spoke to the same Tier 2!  I spoke to a very kind one on March 6 and he offered to submit an inquiry.  The request showed up as "assigned to an agent" with a tracking number that afternoon.

The main message on the USCIS website still has the same "received" message, but at the bottom under "Case History" there is a note that I called and a inquiry was assigned to an agent.  The USCIS app from Spinach doesn't show the inquiry.

The Tier 2 rep said I would get a response within 15 business days.  At first, I assumed I would get a generic form letter telling me to keep waiting.  However, now that USCIS has updated the website to say they are processing September 1 applications, maybe my inquiry will speed up processing for my application and ALL August 31 applications.  The entire day seems to have been skipped!

Good luck with your inquiry.  I hope it brings some happy news. - Jason

Maybe this is a good sign that things are getting better! Good luck too!!!

Through the case status on the USCIS site. Should arrive in her mailbox by end of week if it is as fast as NOA1.

She just came home for lunch and I decided to check it. Such a huge smile on her face! We both had teary eyes. Skype is a wonderful thing!!! lol

Timeline was the first thing I updated. :)

Hey guys, just 2 quick questions!

1. How long does it take the hard copy of the NOA2 to arrive?

2. How long will it take to get a case number at nvc

We're not going to call them to rush in, I just wanted to set my anxiety on how long I'm supposed to be waiting this time to avoid an ulcer!

Thank you and congrats on everyone who got their approvals and good luck to everyone else!

My NOA2 was dated the 8th, and I received it on the 12th. So only a few days.

It's currently taking around 2-4 weeks to arrive at NVC, and another 2-4 weeks to get a case number, according to the February forum.

Question - my foreign beneficiary moved across town a few months ago. I've been debating whether to try to change his address with USCIS or wait until another stage. I've read a few different opinions around these forums. Anyone have any recent experience with this?
