Thank you and I appreciate your kinds words and trying to keep me uplifted. But truthfully, I really don't see an end to this wait any time soon. They won't even give me a reason as to why it's taking so long - nothing about our background checks pending, no RFE, no nothing. Just that my case is assigned to an adjudicator and is being reviewed but they can't give me a timeframe on when I will hear anything. At least you were told it was your background checks pending and it could take 45 days, but I'm not getting anything! Just told that I have to sit and wait. I have come to the realization that I could be waiting the whole year since our filing date at this point.

So, yes the hope I once had for Reni and I...it's gone. I'm just being a realist at this point because I have rationalized this over and over about why my case would be taking this long. Neither one of us are criminals, and while he was denied entry at POE 11/2016 and had his tourist visa cancelled at that time, there have been others who went through that SAME situation and have been approved and moved on already and that's those that filed K1'S and CR1's. So what else could it really be at this point???

So, I'm done calling, submitting service inquiries and contacting anyone local government agency for help because it's pointless and all it does is hurt my feelings more because I keep getting the same response.

I'm starting to accept what could very well be our reality.

I understand I suspect that denial at POE , and the Tourist Visa being cancelled at the time may have something to do with it, making him have more extensive background checks. It took like 3 service inquires for them to finally tell me

that.

I suspect that someone will eventually have to report why it’s taking so long... when I worked in the courts, we had to account for every case that was over time standards. So I suspect they will eventually send the approval, it’s much too late for an RFE, that would have been come already. Just seems to be extra checks and maybe pulling and comparing his Tourist Visa paperwork to this Fiance Petition paperwork.

Dont give up hope but just just continue to work and live with it I’m the back of your mind. I was fed up and came to visit and less than two weeks later riding in a cab it popped up Approved. Yours will too.

They have to give you a response soon.

I received a RFE December 28 th , they received my evidence January 27th.  It was the same thing proof that we met before we applied a lot of the evidence they already had so I had to resubmit it in a little bit more of evidence like a few sworn statements from friends and someone that was with me when we met that was notarized.

It is now Day 40 From them receiving my evidence and I still have heard nothing. A week and a half ago I submitted a case review and also still have heard nothing.

My NOA1 was 5-30-2017 😩

Dear guys! Question! I already book the ticket for the 14. Interview was the 28th, ceac tracker shows visa status "issued" today. How long and where will I be able to track if the passport is delivered to the pick up location I choose? Please advise ASAP!!! I'm having a mini heart attack!

The tracking number should be on the DHL slip you filled out at the interview. You track it on the dhl website. Mine arrived a week after the interview.

We didn't have that option we have to pick it up at a document center

If you weren't given anything that you can use to track it then I'm not sure...Maybe you could contact that center?

From when it changed to issued for me it only took a few days. I got an email the day before it was delivered with tracking info which then told me the expected delivery date and address (I paid extra to have it delivered to my house though).

I would suggest going to the center to pick it up about 4-5 days after it said issued. Worse case is they can say it’s not there yet, but hopefully it will be and you make the flight.

@Maria1989 WOW 1 month from NOA2 to finish line is great! Raises my hopes. I've been waiting so long I have to reread the whole process again after NOA2 smh What's crazy is the app still says received, the website still says received and when I called to speak to an officer he said my case is still pending. I received the hardcopy NOA2 last Saturday. @Trina80 I find myself checking in periodically to check up on you. I feel like we started this together and I pray we can all finish together.
